"We had a great weekend stay here. The house is 10 minutes from Jackson Gore, which was perfect for us. The house sits directly on Lake Rescue, and you have a beautiful view of the lake. We did not do any walking/skating on the ice this time, but it would be very easy to do if you wanted to. The house is well equipped with what you need to cook and eat in. There is a cozy gas fireplace. Tom and Patricia were great hosts and were very communicative and responsive. Would happily stay again! "

"We had a great stay this weekend. The hosts thoughtfully supplied us with plenty of wood to keep a fire going for both nights, which was especially appreciated with the temperatures in the negatives. The house was very clean, extremely spacious, and perfect for our group of 8- we never felt cramped or congested. The host was very responsive and provided all the information we needed ahead of time, so we didn’t have to bother them during our stay. We would absolutely stay here again in the future."

"We had a great stay at this house. It is very convenient to get to Jackson Gore. It was plenty of space for our family of 5 (incl 3 teens) plus our golden retriever. The house is nicely furnished and decorated. The hot tub was super clean and a nice treat at the end of the day. The hosts were very friendly and responsive in their communication. "We just concluded an incredible weekend away at this property and are already planning to return! The home was perfect for our group of friends, with ample bedrooms (each with its own TV, a surprise to us!), two full bathrooms, comfortable living and dining areas, a well-stocked kitchen, and sprawling outdoor space. We felt cozy without being on top of each other. The town itself is cute and we had fun exploring, especially the farmer's market downtown, but we were absolutely taken with the water views and private dock and spent most of our time at home. Being able to step outside first thing int he morning and have coffee on the water, or take a quick dip in the lake on a whim, was incredible.We also loved the aesthetic of the house. It was beautiful without feeling sanitized— we loved many of the modern touches, but appreciated that they kept elements from the original home. So many of the details felt deliberately thoughtful, which was so appreciated."

"House was very nice. Very close to Okemo. Had everything we needed on a sweet lake with a sugar shack directly across. Layout is a little funky but worked just fine. Beds are very comfy. "

"Arrived at our unit at check in time to find the driveway completely plowed in. Contacted the host and was told there was a shovel by the door. My 63 year old husband with a heart condition had to shovel out a 3 foot snow bank. Upon entry, observed an overflowing is trash can on patio from prior stay(s), and when entering the unit, discovered both exterior doors had no locking mechanism from the inside. Unit is very dated, in poor repair and a very poor value for money. "
