"Beautiful cabin in the woods. Had all the necessities that we needed for our long weekend. The host was WONDERFUL. We had a rainy weekend from the hurricane down south and she was amazing in checking in us on frequently to make sure we were okay. Town was close but we were so far up in the mountain, it seemed like we were in the middle of nowhere. I would certainly rent this cabin again in the future."

"We are back from our two night stay at Fishtop. First, let me start with, this is one of THE best stocked rentals we have ever stayed in. It's habit of me to bring things like bandaid, q tips, etc with us when we use rentals. This cabin has everything! Literally everything in the home, and outside, is labeled and has directions. There is SO much information about how to work things, where things are etc. From top to bottom, it is full of top quality home items. There was no cheaping out on this place. Check in and out was a breeze. There is a vending machine with basic toiletries and personal items as well as snacks downstairs; charger cords, snacks, chapstick, some kids items, all pretty decent prices. Our kids LOVED the loft area!Now, to the part that I was a little bummed about. Because of Helene, the area is a little rough around the edges currently. The Green River is torn up. Open, but definitely not in the greatest shape. We booked this partially for River access and fishing, and neither were fantastic. Obviously not the owners fault, but I do wish there had been a tad bit more transparency in the listing. The road is in terrible shape, and the alternate directions we got were very confusing. We ended up asking a local, and them showing us the way (which is the direct route to the cabin, but technically closed to everyone but local traffic). Just be prepared for an adventurous ride whichever way you are going! Again, not the owners fault."
