"Shuttle service was excellent! Charger for my car was not functioning at the hotel, could have gone to a different location but not conveniently . Room was very nice, clean and comfortable. Bathroom was ok. In my opinion you definitely should invest in grab bars in the shower, it was precarious for me. Staff were very helpful, especially the young lady who helped us our first afternoon. Grounds were very beautiful, flowers everywhere. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience and I definitely would recommend the Gideon Putnam."

"Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. The hotel was clean, the pool was warm and well maintained, and the hot tub was a nice bonus. Breakfast was very good, with omelets, bacon, bagels, pastries, and waffles — both adults and kids were happy. Just keep in mind when booking that the hotel is about a 25-minute walk from the center, so it may not be the most convenient option if being within walking distance of the lake, restaurants, and shops is important to you."
