"This location was perfect for a quick winter getaway. Located less than a half mile from all the great spots in Portsmouth and with off street parking was so great. The apartment was clean , organized and cozy. Everything from arrival to departure went smoothly and we would absolutely come back!"

"The apartment was located in a quiet neighborhood within walking distance of downtown. It was the perfect size for a small group of us to stay and be able to walk to shopping and restaurants. We had everything we needed, including a cute little snack area. I would say the only downside was that the building was very old and therefore not soundproofed. So we heard everything the young kids were up to downstairs, quite early in the morning. Still, we’d definitely rent again!"

"This is the best place to stay in the area. Adorable apartment with modern kitchen and bathroom. Walkable area with a breakfast lunch spot next door. "

"We stayed for one night. We were 5 and we fit perfectly for one night. The place has a nice outdoor seating area and we enjoyed it. We were 10 minutes or 15 minutes away from Portsmouth , so it was a perfect spot to stay , on the beach and close to a main city. Safe parking spot and easy walk to the beach."

"Such a beautiful clean place, and check-in was a breeze! Lovely view, and right across the road from a gorgeous pebble beach. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!"

"The carriage house was comfortable, cozy and in a nice location with a spectacular view. The house is as described online. I would suggest taking your own toiletries and your own bed linens if you have an allergy to scented laundry products. Overall, it was a great place to stay and the owners were accommodating. The friendly little dog, pippa was so sweet and greeted us in the driveway everyday."

"Very good overall. Close to beach. Problems … water took a long time to turn to hot for hand washing and showers. Porch windows would not open… when we got in temp read 78 on the main unit…. Took a long time to get it down to 68. We had a hard time controlling temperature.. There was no lobster pot. You need one."
