"We enjoyed a wonderful stay at The Hotel Portsmouth. It's a beautiful building with ample sitting areas to enjoy a leisurely 'European-style' breakfast (small plates) or just have a cup of coffee, read a book, etc. The only downside is that there is no central air conditioning, since it is an older building. The window AC unit works just fine, but it does mean that you can't fully use the blinds on the windows - which meant we woke up with the sun every morning."
