College graduation weekend

This house provided a lovely and peaceful place for our family to rest and prepare amid a weekend of celebratory events for our son’s college graduation. The owner was quick and responsive to any questions we had. I would recommend this house for anyone looking to stay in the area. It was a short drive to High Point and Greensboro.

The house was clean. When we arrived, the house was very cold. The thermostat was set to 69 so we turned it up, but that did not help. There was a lot of cold draft coming in. For amenities, there were none. No hand soap no bath wash. These are things that are just usually done when someone is hosting a home rental. In addition, the microwave and the dishwasher were not working for use. Also, the TV was disconnected there was no plug and we could not use the Wi-Fi. Lastly, there was lots of ice in the walkway to the house. I had to literally go out and buy some ice melt to ensure no one in my family fell. This house had a high fee for a two night stay. With the lack of amenities it did not feel luxurious as advertised and I definitely don’t feel like I got my money’s worth or value. I think this is more of a modest house and should not be advertised as a luxury house.

Disappointed

Not as pictured. It appeared someone was living at the property and left for the weekend. Did not feel comfortable at the property. The refrigerator and freezer were filled with food. A Christmas tree in a box was left in the living room. Various boxes were in the dining area. The lawn in the back was not mowed. The showers were dirty. We would have left but had our elderly mother with us and didn’t have alternative Arrangements. Very disappointing.
