"Room itself clean & OK. Coffee etc not ready at 6:00 AM…just setting up. Staff trying hard…recommended washing doors/windows as not a good first impression. Isolated as no restaurants/shops within walking distance. Very quiet & again staff trying hard to please."

"Hosnt was very responsive to messages. House was quaint and clean and would have been perfect if not for the infestation of asian beetles. Lady bugs dont normally bother me but when they are swarming in droves above the bed and falling into bed with you at night, it can be disconcerting. They were in everyroom, in the bathrooms, falling out of the toilet paper rolls, inside the bed and pillow cases, inside the shower, swarming around the bathroom sink. It wasnt the host's fault though....these bugs are everywhere down south right now. I thought the host would have knocked some of the price off the cost of the stay but he didn't. That said, he was very upfront with us before we arrived and told us about the bugs. I just had no idea how bad they really were. Oh well...It made for an exciting night and a memory we will not forget :) For future guests, I dont think these asian beetles will still be there. However, if the host warns you in advance about bugs...take heed and look for somewhere else to stay. Problem for us..there wasn't anywhere else to stay that night. Every other VRBO and Bed and Breakfast was booked in this rural area. We would have had to drive an hour away to get a room...thus, we chose to live with the lady bugs."

"We absolutely loved our stay. We live 10 minutes from the property, and needed a place to host out of town family. We even held our daughter's first birthday party at the house! Everyone loved the house. We may make it a yearly visit!"

"This home was great for our Tide game weekend. It was clean, spacious, comfortable and homey, and convenient to campus; kitchen is well-stocked with dishes, etc, including a Keurig which isn’t listed in the description. Grace is a thoughtful hostess and quick to respond to questions. We have only positive comments and definitely recommend this property."
