"The view!! Stunning!! In other news, this is a spacious, comfortable, functional house, in an excellent location. The kitchen is beautifully renovated, well equipped with pots and pans and utensils and appliances. And the hosts have taken the trouble to label all the drawers and cabinets, so you can actually find stuff. The bathrooms are all recently renovated as well: not luxurious or huge, but clean and attractive. The king mattress we slept on was very comfortable. The grill worked and we pulled a couple of the deck chairs around to face the sunset at cocktail hour.The neighborhood, Ocean Point, is very quiet and very friendly. The walk down Shore Road, past the Ocean Point Inn, with changing vistas as you proceed, was a treat; we ended up walking a ton and had lots of lovely little chats along the way. I would also add that this house is furnished with practical, sturdy, furniture. Everything comfortable and functional and in good repair but exuding a kind of old-school, no-nonsense, Grandma's beach house charm. You don’t need to get all fretful about your dog jumping up on a sofa or if you forgot to use a coaster on a table. Special props for the glass-topped dining table, perfect for a lobster dinner. This place is absolutely awesome, from all points of view. Highly recommended. "

"Tremendous location with expansive ocean views at Ocean Point. The cottage was comfortable, roomy and very well equipped. A minor issue was the sticky exterior doors, making it a bit difficult to access the cottage when the doors were locked. Overall a wonderful find, and we are hoping to return soon. "

"We enjoyed our stay at the cottage and loved being in such a central location on Ocean Point. We were just across the street from the Casino, a short walk to the shore road and white rocks, and a medium walk down to the Ocean Point Inn and dock. Every sleeping area was equipped with a fan, which was essential as it was very warm the first few days we were there. The kitchen and eating area was lovely, with lots of natural light and a dishwasher. We also enjoyed the porch and grill. You should note that the downstairs office area with a twin bed and trundle does not have doors on the room, just thin curtains in the doorways. This was a surprise to us. The stairs are also very steep and uneven. We had a young child with us, and she required pretty constant supervision as the house is not really set up for kiddos. "
