"After a busy 4 days in Venice, the tranquility of 6Stanco was just what we needed. For us, the hosting was spot-on; welcoming and helpful, whilst giving us the space to feel at home. The villa was spotless and we took full advantage of the pool, abundant fig tree, and nights gazing at the stars. There would have been more beach volleyball if it hadn’t been so hot! We were slightly disappointed with the trip to Rochetta Mattei, only available with English audio guide, half of which didn’t work....

"We stayed here for just over two weeks and cannot rave enough about the generosity Stefano, Beatrice & Michele showed us. The place is very clean, our hosts were gracious and helpful. Our stay was very comfortable and Stefano & Beatrice would gift us with treats. Would highly recommend as a quiet get away and home base if you are touring Northern Italy. Thank you so much! We would definitely stay here again"

"It’s the perfect vrbo- in a great neighborhood but still quiet and private. It was the perfect size for our family of 3. The living room has 2 twin size pull out couches, plus a bedroom with a queen bed. Elena and Stefano are great hosts- they gave us a ton of info on their city and checked in on us. They live next door so if there was ever an issue they were there to help- not that there was."

"The villa suited our family’s needs wonderfully and having the terrace with the gorgeous view over the Tuscan hills was fabulous. We hadn’t realised that the pool is shared with a small number of other families staying in other parts of the property, but it wasn’t a problem and the pool was never overcrowded. Cristina was so helpful and I would happily stay again."

"The property had a beautiful country setting. It reminded me of an old farmhouse. The outside entertainment area was great. Unfortunately we weren’t able to enjoy it due to the mosquitoes. The property owner supplied us with citronella candles but the bugs won! There isn’t any air conditioning including the bedrooms. It was quite war despite the ceiling fans and we couldn’t leave the windows open because of the bugs. It was a nice retreat after being in the busy city of Bologna."

"We stayed in the Garden unit for 9 days in mid July. The property is beautiful and Alessandro and his family are wonderful people and great hosts. They were very accommodating to our family by amending the pool hours. The property is perfectly situated to see many great areas around Bologna and all are within about an hours’ drive. The only issue we had was the heat. Unfortunately there were heat warnings throughout this part of Europe in July and the property is not set up yet to deal with...

"This beautiful, spacious, classical Italian style property was the perfect landing spot for our first week in Bologna. On the third floor, ovelooking cafes, wine bars and a vital social scene in the center of University life, we still enjoyed a good night’s sleep in the quiet back bedroom. Then down the elevator and out the front door, we could make our first stop at the cafe just across the street, then head out on foot in any direction to explore this interesting and beautiful city."

"The property was great but Hotels.com did not honor the rate posted on the app and I ended up paying 30% higher than if I would have booked at the hotel. I tried to get reimbursement from a Hotels.com agent but they said they could do nothing about it. Even what I prepaid to breakfast wa much higher tjan the hotel directly. The property and employees at the hotel were very good. Good Athena hotel was great but my experience with Hotels.com made it not worth it"
