Location is really good and stuff was really kind. However, Restaurant’s music is too loud in the night. Bed is little bit dusty, so my eyes had problems.

There is no kitchen, kettle or microwave. There is no common area. Because of this people eat in the beds, in dormitory and even in hallways. Under the beds are many crumbs that do need yo be cleaned up. Check in was great but after that staff were less helpful. The cost of a coffee changed with the staff person. The place you could sit to eat your own food changed (even though the restaurant was closed most of the time I was there. Many people staying there had no idea you could eat your own food at a table so one guy found bathroom was best place. The few garbage cans were full of food and containers. Lights stay on all night in dorms so bring eye mask (could not find a switch in the room). Good location and so much potential. Designate a common area for phone calls and eating - maybe add a microwave and kettle. And make sure all customers have the same information about where they can eat or sit to talk.
I really enjoyed my two night stay at this hostel.
The team at reception were really helpful and friendly.
The place opened in August 2024 to at least 4* hotel level.
Great cafe and bar on ground floor.
The location is very central in the old town and directly opposite Vets concert venue.

I had a great night's sleep in the very comfortable bed.
The bathroom and shower rooms were to an excellent standard.
I would fully recommend if in Groningen
My first capsule/pod experience. Very clean, safe, and nice staff. Bathroom was updated, clean, modern, and was simply amazing and fancy for a hostel. Loved that ppl had left a decent selection of shower products for others to use, as well as books.
It was low season, with just a few ppl in the room, but for some reason they placed us all side by side. I suggest you ask to be placed away from others to not hear them banging their knees and feet on a shared wall throughout the night - and bring ear plugs. The room was quiet but you could still hear every tiny sound anyone made.
With that said, I would definitely return again.
Frienfly personal, but they should better control people thez allow in their hostel. In my room, they were some people spitting on the ground and it was mainly alcoholic people, some people speaking loudly in the night, and some people with clothes full of blood/poop. It looked like a place for homeless rather than a traveller hostel.
they we're from the start sweet and caring if you ask some info they give it to you right away if they dont know it they look it up to help you the beste i loved it
Unterkunft mit gutem Preis-Leistungs-verhältnis. Gute Betten. Hochwertiges Bad. Freundliches Personal.
