Very close to the church on wedding day
Ok, it is a Forest house. So its a bit off the beaten track, however a bus service every hour gets you to the location. Getting back however make sure you take the hotels card, as taxis know the restaurant but not the hotel, and the hotel address doesnt seem to be on Google maps. Bed I had was two singles put together, it was quite cold one night there. The reception is open only in the morning, so if you forget your key, or worse, your key doesnt work as mine didnt, you could be waiting a long while to get in ( thankfully jiggling the keycard got me in ). The breakfast in the morning is excellent, and the concierge when she is there is polite, friendly and speaks good English. It was perfect for the wedding I was attending as just a quick walk away and some of my friends drove to the forest sauna which was closeby, but if it were not for the wedding, I think I would have stayed closer to Lubeck. There is a nice restaurant next door if you want to try venison or wild boar :) Hope that helps!

Right next to the bus stop.
This place was great. It's location is very nice. The bus stop was less than 100m down the road. 3 Euro will get you to the center of the old city, which sure beats a taxi for 15. The bed made my back ache some, but that may be more a sign of me getting older than the bed being uncomfortable. My wife slept great. This is not a hotel, as much as a guest house. Most of the staff do not speak much English, but that didn't create a problem. The restaurant portion of the guest house was very cozy and the food was excellent.

Detta är ett ganska prisvärt boende med bra läge, bara några km från Lübecks centrum. God service och trevlig personal. Bra frukost. Rummet var rymligt, sängarna sköna. Rent och fräscht. Golvfläkt.

Sehr saubere Unterkunft mit etwas älterem gepflegten Interieur, guten, festen Betten, modernem größeren Bad. Hervorragender Ausstattung wie abgepacktem Schuhputzzeug und Kurzwaren oder Hausschuhen. Freier Tee, Kaffee und Wasser mit Zubereitungsmöglichkeit auf dem Zimmer. Besser als manch höher kategorisiertes Hotel.

Godt hotel. Kan anbefales.
Roligt beliggende hotel 5 km fra Lübeck centrum. Nemt at komme til byen ad cykelsti eller med bus. Godt værelse med bekvemme stole. God plads til kufferter. Varme på værelset. Kogekande til rådighed. Cykelstier lige udenfor dørene. Venligt personale og god morgenbuffet.

Helt ok för övernattning
Ett bra mindre hotell, för bra pris. Fungerar bra för en enstaka natt. Minus att man måste gå till restaurangen längre bort för att äta middag. Lugnt läge i utkanten av Lübeck. Kan rekommendera detta hotell.

Insgesamt ein angenehmer Aufenthalt. Das Restaurant, was in der Hotelbeschreibung noch aufgeführt wird, ist allerdings leider schon seit ein paar Jahren geschlossen. In der Nähe git es aber einen Italiener. Frühstück in Ordnung.

Etwas renovierungsbedürftig...
Wir haben dieses Hotel ausgewählt aufgrund seiner Nähe einer Hochzeitslocation. Wegen der Hochzeit haben wir fairerweise nicht sehr viel Zeit im Hostel verbracht und können z.B. das Frühstück gar nicht beurteilen. Allerdings für das Geld (mehr als 100€) war das Zimmer auf keinen Fall wert. Die Möbel sollte schnellstmöglich ausgetauscht werden, sie war mindestens 40 Jahre alt und zum Teil beschädigt und sehr abgenutzt... Das Bad war sauber und funktionsfähig.

Gutes Angebot erlegt!
Es muss nicht immer trainiert freundlich sein wie in vielen stadtnahen Hotels grosser Ketten. Mir hat das offene Auge der Betreiber gefallen. Es gab zwar keine Berge am Buffet zu finden, aber das Wenige war gut und wurde, wenn es an etwas gefehlt hat, sofort aufgefüllt - immer frisch. Die Betreiber sind von ausnehmender Freundlichkeit gewesen. Ich habe die Ruhe genossen, tat gut nach dem Trubel in der Stadt...dass das Hotel etwas in die Jahre gekommen ist wurde durch den Service mehr als wett gemacht.
