This resort was an absolute dream. The property is gorgeous and well-configured, and the staff is beyond kind and warm. The entire experience was rife with wonderful hospitality and we were glad we ate at the restaurant and partook of the day spa. Beautiful resort with all the amenities—pool, restaurant, spa and just 45-60 mins from Yosemite entrances. It is VERY family friendly, so kids everywhere, which sets a different tone for an adult getaway. You’re also stuck with the restaurant options, as there is nothing close by and the prices are pretty high for meals and drinks. Delightful small market-cafe for morning bites, and the staff there were particularly friendly, but staff were lovely from check-in to out.

This lodge was WONDERFUL. The details throughout the property were gorgeous and high end. The staff was helpful and friendly. The location is literally 2 minutes from the Big Oak Flat Entrance and then a scenic 30 minute drive down to the main attractions at Yosemite valley. Also, I didn’t bring my 4 year old, but I SHOULD HAVE! They had playgrounds (indoor and outdoor), s’mores every day, heated pool, games (indoor and outdoor), crafts, on site hikes, etc. I will say the drinks at the bar were pricey. $20+, but they sold beer and wine in the gift shop so that was more up my alley.

Our stay at Rush Creek Lodge was absolutely incredible! From the moment we arrived, the staff was welcoming, friendly, and truly attentive, making us feel right at home. The views surrounding the lodge are breathtaking, especially with the beautiful nature and mountains all around. The amenities were fantastic—there was so much to enjoy, and everything was thoughtfully designed to make the stay relaxing and fun. One of the highlights of our trip was watching the sunset, which was absolutely stunning and made the experience even more memorable. If you’re visiting the area near Yosemite National Park, I highly recommend staying here. It’s the perfect combination of comfort, adventure, and beautiful scenery. We can’t wait to come back!

Great location for Yosemite sight seeing. Very nice sunset views from all over the property. Most amenities (specifically pool/spa) accessible 24x7! Villa rooms are spacious and comfortable for 4. Dinner menu was excellent (duck legs, wings, fried cauliflower, Cioppino, salmon, Caesar salad were all standouts). Breakfast though is pretty over priced, and nothing special. Spa was great after days of hiking. Hot waterfall tub was a unique standout. The negatives were several amenities (2nd hot tub, most of the game room games - pinball, bubble jockey) were broken/needed maintenance, and being in a ground floor villa there was a lot of noise from the room above, so ask for a second floor villa if available.
