Great location! This hotel is a Historic charm. Closer to the Catedral, Relaciones exteriores office, mercado de san juan, shopping, restaurants, everything is withing ten minute walk.

I loved this place for its beautiful architecture and history. But if you want someone to take your bags to your room or an elevator? This is not your place. I had to bring all my bags up three flights of stairs. Room was great. AC that we shut off at 2am because we were actually cold. Nice shower, TV, and space. Short walk to downtown and the fun begins. You can’t beat the price.

You need to like historic buildings to appreciate this hotel. There is no elevator and no help to get your bags to your room. The staff is very friendly but lean. The building is beautiful. Bathrooms are clean but water pressure is low but serviceable. The room AC was great. In fact, put the temperature a degree or two higher than you would think. We woke up at 2am shivering and it was set at 72 degrees. They do have breakfast for a reasonable fee. But it is the same breakfast everyday. Eggs, fruit, juice, beans, chilaquiles and toast. It is quiet but close enough to the action. We like it a lot.

Front desk clerk amazing customer service upon check-in!! I would have preferred a room with a window, but I was able to check-in early with no extra charge, the room was very clean & all the staff very nice & helpful! :-) water was hot in the bathroom & cold filtered water cooler to refill your bottle. For the prie, you can't go wrong! :-)

I arrived at 1:30am from the airport, when arrive I was told they didn’t have my reservation even though I showed the payment. The worst part was that my mother is 85 years old and can barely walk so she was extremely tired by then. We were told that it was nothing they could do. My mother then started to demand a room and was given a room at the 4th floor with no elevator we had to take it cause she couldn’t walk any more. We struggle to climb the stairs just to find a room without hot water. It was really a bad experience
