"We stopped one night in Guatapé to enjoy the view from the famous rock and it was well worth it. Galleria is located 3km or a 6min-ish busride from the actual town but right at the foot of the rock. The view from the hostel is amazing and the owner was young, chill and friendly. Immediate access to two decent roadside restaurants with affordable local dishes. "Reception may have someone who seems unhappy to be working there, the rest seemed to be helpful and at least put on a smile. The property is nice, good for families. *CAUTION THE POOL AREA-MOSTLY FOR LITTLE KIDS, DO NOT HAVE THEM RUNNING, THOSE FLOORS BY THE POOL AREA VERY SLIPPERY IF WALKING WITH WET FEET** (My kid slipped and hit his head, thankfully nothing bad happened).. other than that the property is probably the best with accomodations being close to the town and the rock.
