Family vacation
Stove oven did not work. Scorpion in the bathroom trapped between wall and glass wall, generally unclean on the inside. The only positive was the outdoor space. Unfortunately the weather did not cooperate. Info for contact person on website incorrect. Communication about placement of keys for washer not gotten until 3 rd day. Several light bulbs burnt out and no replacement available. No batteries in downstairs remotes. no extra bathroom tissue available in unit. OK to submit it

I kindly request that you remove your review due to inaccuracy. We resolved issues with you immediately when we were contacted. 4 of your complaints were outright untruths, and the other 2, batteries for one remote and one lightbulb were remedied right away. Our manager went to the house personally within 45 minutes and resolved the 2 issues.

Comfortable cabin in relaxing setting
We had a relaxing stay at Casa Boheme. The cabin is quiet and surrounded by redwood trees. The location is great for accessing downtown Guerneville, Armstrong Redwoods and the Sonoma Coast. The host was very responsive and helpful. Highly recommended.

Cozy Perfection
Ideal weekend getaway for a small group, from the convenient location to all of the outdoor amenities! We also loved the vibe of the house, which the owner clearly put her personal touches on (essential oil diffuser — check!).

A great place for a laugh with some friends
We loved this property and had so much fun staying at Casa Boheme! Katy was very responsive in the days leading up to/during our stay. Also, we cooked almost every meal and the coffee maker, blender, and knives were awesome! Highly recommend!

Clean beautiful house
Some friends and I stayed here for my 40th birthday. The house was perfect for our two night stay. The kitchen was very nicely stocked, hot tub was lovely as was the fire pit. The house decor was excellent as well. The only drawback was our walk to downtown - there wasn’t any way to get there on foot other than walking along the side of a very busy street. Even so I wouldn't hesitate to stay at this beautiful house again!

Great place
Clean, updated, quiet. Wonderful. The fireplace was really nice each night, and so was the hot tub. Beds were comfy. Our one suggestion would be a more well rounded selection of pots, and serving bowls.

Great stay in the redwoods
Beautiful, modern home surrounded by redwoods. Great having the outdoor hot tub and ping pong table. Downstairs was a queen bed with a separate room with a daybed that you go through to access the en suite bathroom. Another bedroom and bathroom upstairs. Very comfortable bedding. Laundry is located in downstairs closet (key in armoire). Just under a mile to get to the various restaurants in town. Thanks for a great stay!

Everything we needed!
We stayed for two nights to celebrate my sister getting married! The location was perfect and had everything we needed. The fire pit, hot tub and outdoor area was beautifully situated with all the trees! We would definitely stay again!

Nice Home in the Trees
Overall our stay at the property was good. We had some plumbing issues that required us to be stuck at the property for an afternoon with people coming and going to fix the issue which killed some plans that we had. The Property Managers were quick to respond though and resolve the issue. Fortunately this issue is resolved and should not affect future renters.

Nice Stay
The house is large and spacious with a great wrap-around deck and outside nooks to take advantage of. There were a few things that were not in place when we first arrived (outside lighting, additional linens and towels) but Theo took care of these needs quickly. Theo was very responsive during our stay and both he, Cherie and Katy followed up post our visit. It's clear that they care deeply that their guests have a safe and comfortable ecpereince!

Great property, close to town, fun features
We had a great time at this fun property. Close to town, quiet street, fun with ping pong and hot tubbing, plus plenty of space for everyone to relax. My only gripe would be to echo what others have said about paying for a cleaning fee and having to do quite a bit of cleaning before we left. Not the end of the world, but not your normal experience. All fully disclosed though and we had no issue getting our deposit back. All in all a great time, and Charlie was very easy to get a hold of - no issues checking in, etc.

Quaint and charming spot by the river
Had a nice stay here - particularly loved the fire pit and wraparound deck! Only complaint is that the outdoor furniture, deck, etc. we’re very dirty and swarming with bugs - guess that’s the great outdoors for ya! Also, we were required to clean the place head to toe (wash and dry linens, empty dishwasher, etc.) for fear of being charged additional fees although we’d already paid a $175 cleaning fee. I think that price is pretty steep all things considered. Regardless, had a good time and would recommend to anyone wanting a nice, relaxing weekend on the river!

A perfect oasis in the middle of Wine Country!
This was my 5 or 6th time staying in Guerneville and this place was my favorite! Super comfortable, spacious with all the amenities you could want. It's actually walking distance to the town of Guerneville, short drives away from some of the best vineyards Sonoma has to offer, and 20 minutes from the coast. One of my favorite things to do in Guerneville is to wake up on a cool morning, pour myself a cup of coffee and take in the morning from the hot tub! This place did not disappoint! The house had plenty of space for the four of us and lots of outdoor space to take in the natural beauty of the surrounding area. Next time I come back to Sonoma, this place will be at the top of my list. And Charlie was super responsive!

Cute house w a few issues
We stayed here with another family for 2 nights in early November. We ultimately had a nice stay and Charlie was very communicative and accommodating with early arrival. This is definitely a "cozy" house that works for 4 but can't really see it working for a bigger group. The living room was cute and cozy. Kitchen was quite small, and missing some basics like mixing bowls, but mostly nice. The cool vintage stove in the photos is no longer there. There is only a small dining table in the living room with 4 chairs. Tons of sleeping areas but I can't see how a large group could use the rest of the house. The bedrooms are very oddly situated (one at the top of the stairs and the other opening up to the basement den) and both are tiny with barely any room around from the queen-sized beds. Our main issue was a vent in the upstairs bedroom that opened to the outside and was only covered by a metal grille, as it was literally freezing out and we had unfortunate super dangerous air-quality due to nearby fires. There was no way to close up this vent, and furthermore the heat vent was jammed closed so no heat was getting into the room.

Uncomfortable beds, don't bother with the hot tub!
I'll start with saying that the property is recently renovated and is in a very nice spot in Guerneville. The property lives up to the photos and has plenty of parking. The kitchen has plenty of pots and pans and a gas range, which is always a pleasure to cook on. Practically, our enjoyment was hampered by a few factors. The bunk beds are incredibly uncomfortable. Two of the "beds" were actually bean-bag chairs, which shouldn't really count as beds on VRBO. One of our guests actually blew up their own air mattress and slept on that instead. The master bedroom did not have a door and opened directly into the basement, where the two beanbags and bunk bed were. Hope you weren't hoping for privacy! Despite charing a rather steep cleaning fee, signage was clearly posted around the house imploring you to do two loads of laundry before you leave, and to empty all garbages and recycling. Additionally, you will be charged extra if you do not clean and put away all dishes before you leave. Nothing like spending my weekend getaway cleaning the property I already paid to have cleaned! Don't get me wrong, I usually clean places before I leave, but this felt heavy-handed. It would not have been as offensive if the cleaning fee was cheaper. We chose this property because it has a hot tub, which was an important feature for our party. Inside the home, you are informed that "if the hot tub needs to be drained after your stay, you will be charged for the service." Unfortunately for our group, spending a couple hours over the course of Friday and Saturday night was (apparently) enough trigger this. After texting the spa cleaning company, it seemed as though it hot tub did not necessarily NEED to be drained (could be treated with chemicals instead), but Charlie insisted on going that route. After talking to both Charlie and the Spa Care Company to understand all sides of the problem, I came up with what I thought to be a reasonable compromise. My compromise was shot down immediately by Charlie, and he ended our correspondence by telling me that he would filter all future messages from me as spam. Guessing that if a couple hours of use is enough to trigger a very expensive charge (look up Diamond Spa Care's basic clean out service!), that you might as well not use the spa at all... or be prepared to pay (literally!!) for the consequences. We are not the only review to mention getting charged a fee after minimal use, either.

Brad We have been renting our property for the past two years and have not had any issues as you can see by reading our reviews from past guests. Every house has it's rules! You shouldn't have rented from us if you didn't agree with our policies and rules.They were clearly stated in the rental agreement which you did not follow at all. You told us that your party of 8 had a lovely time and not once did you call me with any issues. Upon inspection of the house we noticed the hot tub was murky and smelly and had to be drained before the next quests checked in. The company charges us for this and we have no choice but to pass the charge on to you. Sorry that you were not happy with the charges! Best Charlie

Perfect weekend away!
We absolutely loved staying here for an extended weekend. There was plenty of space for all and an amazing patio with fire pit. Charlie was very kind and responsive through the entire process. We will definitely look into booking this house on our next trip to Guerneville.

Great home with perfect BBQ yard!
We had a great BBQ in the backyard of the house. It was such a beautiful house with a wonderful outdoor area with a firepit, gas and wood BBQ, and hot tub. We enjoyed our time thoroughly! Charlie was responsive and kind when we needed the house entry information from him for check-in. He also gave us late check out, which was great! I would definitely recommend this location.

Great Host
The property is in a great location - just a couple blocks (short) walk to the river. There is a neighborhood access right near the end of the block. We were two families with kids and the accommodation is a bit tight but worked for us because we are comfortable with each other. All the kids stayed downstairs in the main room and the parents in the two double beds. It helps to be able to hang/eat outside so we aren't on top of each other. Over all the owner was very helpful and made it comfortable.

Cozy cottage great for small family get together
We recently had a small family reunion with our 20 something aged children at Casa Rossa. The home is tastefully decorated and appears to be recently renovated. The downstairs includes an open second bedroom and a living room equipped with sleeping arrangements. This actually worked great for us as the four kids had their space downstairs, while my husband and I stayed upstairs. You do have to go through the downstairs bedroom to get to the bathroom, but in our case it was not a problem. I really like to cook for the kids when we get together and the kitchen was well equipped for cooking family meals. The home is within walking distance to a small public beach, but there is parking there, as well. We rented paddle boards from SUP Odyssey for two days, and that was a fantastic addition to the overall experience. Jeff delivered the boards right to the house. We also enjoyed the hot tub, ping pong table, BBQ and firepit. The home is conveniently located close to shopping, restaurants and wineries. Casa Rossa was exactly what we were looking for in a relaxed family vacation :)

The perfect Guerneville getaway
We had a great time at this shady oasis nestled among the redwoods just outside of Guerneville. The location is ideal - close to the Russian River and the grocery store, and just a short drive from several wineries - and we were always excited to come back to the cozy living room and the spacious patio (and, of course, the hot tub!). The kitchen is well equipped and easy to use, and the outdoor picnic table and fire pit were perfect for dining in the warm summer evenings. Charlie's was responsive and we had no problems finding the property. I would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful home, fantastic location
We had a blast at this property. It's very cozy, tastefully decorated with quirky antiques, fully stocked kitchen and spotless bathrooms. We loved hanging out in the hot tub and by the gas fire pit outside. Watching the sunset from the deck out front with a glass of wine in hand, absolute heaven. We also made good use of the BBQ grill outside. The location is ideal just outside town in a quiet little street surrounded by trees. We'll be coming back for sure.

Spring Break in Guernville
We had a lovely time in Guernville. Charlie was helpful in booking our very last minute trip. He was responsive. We asked about firewood, there was none there but got no answer so we just bought some. The home is newly remodeled just like the pictures. Brand new kitchen, bathrooms. Bathroom were great! lots of room and we always had hot water. They had very beautiful hardwood floors. The kids loved the hot tub. Overall the home was nice, we were four adults and four kids, but I think it was a little cramped. The second room was very small and very tight for two adults, i'm wondering if it was a full vs. a queen. The entrance to the downstairs room is through the "den" or "kid" room, but there was no door so no privacy unless you when into the bathroom. It got very bright down there in the morning. Just a few suggestions: 1. The kitchen could use an stove vent. 2. Since you have a hot tub, more towels would be good to use with the hot tub. 3. The window down the stairs could use some covering because it made it really bright in the kids room and second bedroom in the early morning. 4. The den/kids room floor did get a bit cold, you should fix the holes in the floor around the walls. 5. Try to clean out the spiderwebs around the patio railing. Overall good place to stay, very quite.

Perfect River getaway!
Casa Rossa is one of those houses you dont want to review because you want to keep it all to yourself. This property is very central yet when you are home it feels miles away. The amenities were wonderful; fire pit, hot tub, deck, swing, outdoor dining area, ping pong table and bbq. We spent so much time outside. There is a fantastic beach walking distance as well as a playground and restaurant. Guerneville is about 60 secs away and is walkable if you dare..like we did. We would stay here again in a heartbeat! Lastly coordination with property manager was super easy and he was lovely and accommodating.

Russian River Getaway
Our stay at Casa Rossa was very relaxed and comfortable. The outdoor amenities, such as the fire pit, BBQ, ping pong table and hot tub, kept us very entertained all weekend. The wrap around porch offered a lovely place to watch the sun set over the redwoods during happy hour. The location is close to everything and the neighborhood is friendly. The house is nicely updated and the kitchen has almost everything you will need for a big cookout. Our group of 8 people was a little cramped sleeping downstairs, however this did not stop us from having a good time. I highly recommend staying at Casa Rossa if you are looking for the perfect getaway for those that seek quiet and serenity.
