"An over the top experience. We toured the vineyard and learned all about growing grapes and all the challenges involved. Ate most of our dinner meals at the house and found the kitchen to be perfectly set up for our group. Would definitely return if we're ever in the area again."

"This was the first time we took our toddler glamping and our little family trip was super wonderful . It felt so nice and peaceful to be out in nature . The room was nice and comfortable , the staff was amazing , and I loved how you get the best of both worlds . Nature and also basic elements of comfort . S’mores and looking at the sky full of stars was magical and I can’t wait to come back again. This place felt healing for the soul ."

"Friendly folks who give you a big breakfast in the morning. There's no A/C, but you can plug a surprisingly fast ice machine in for a cold drink, and really the ceiling fans are enough. The power went out (PG&E, ugh) but it came back in about an hour. It is a rare occurrence so I guess we got lucky. They gave us some lights just in case.The only thing that did bother me was the broken screens. The screens on the doors seem off the rails, and the window above our bed had a bent screen with a wasp nest in it. The evening air was perfect and there was a nice breeze so it would have been nice to open them.Anyway, we petted the dogs and the horses and only stayed a night just to rest before heading home. We had a nice neighbor just next door (across the porch in an unconnected smaller house/room).The house creaks amazingly. You may or may not enjoy it. We thought it was charming. It was kind of alive."

"We rented this place to Fish at Lake Barta. Plenty of room for parking for two bass boats hooked up to trucks. Nice quiet area all by itself at the top of the hill. Perfect for what we needed."
