"Wonderful staff, comfortable beds, delicious breakfast buffet that features local specialities (meibutsu) such as Nikko yuba in the chawan mushi, miso soup, local greens, etc. Property and bathrooms are a bit dated but our room was clean and well-maintained. Had free bottled water in fridge, slippers and bathrobes. Convenient location. Thanks to the helpful staff!"

"We stayed at HOTEL NEWITAYA for 3 nights and had a very enjoyable stay. The location is convenient, with the train station about a 10-minute walk away and bus links just 2 minutes from the hotel. There are plenty of amenities nearby, including FamilyMart, 7-Eleven, and several restaurants, making it easy to find food and essentials. The staff were friendly, helpful, and welcoming throughout our stay. The hotel was very clean and well maintained, and we felt comfortable during our visit....
