"EXCELLENT!!! This place was a dream come true. The pool was Huge, very deep and swimable and really warm. We went with 6 adults and 5 kids and had the time of our lives. Watching the monkeys play on the roofs was something we will never forget. All the toucans and so many other birds flying overhead during the day made it so interesting and the Owls watching us swim at night in a nearby tree was a real treat to listen too. Spotting all the different wildlife on the property was so cool, we saw deer, lizards, huge frogs, a huge snake in the tree and other smaller mammals that made the drive too and from the villa very fun and enjoyable. The place was Very clean, maintained and well supplied. No complaints at all. You definitely need a four wheel drive to get back to the villa. But Soooo worth it!!!!"

"The place was really clean and nice. It was like a mini house with living room abd kitchen. Honestly, one of our best stays. We would have arrived late for check-in so they assisted us with the security giving us the keys and everything. The pool was really clean and nice. There was a lot of Iguanas on the property which made it an unforgettable and unique place. All the staff members were very friendly, helpful and kind especially the breakfast."

"The house is very nice. If you want to stay in the jungle then this is the house for you! We were able to see lots of animals and monkeys! Plan on bringing any spices, condiments (salt, pepper, oil, sugar, coffee, laundry detergent, dryer sheets) from the store. It fit our family well of 9 just fine. Be sure to rent a 4x4 because it is a steep climb and quite frankly you will need the 4x4 for most of the areas in Costa Rica. There are bugs so be aware of that as it is the jungle but you won’t find them in the house unless you leave the door open."

"This home is beautiful and it is a great value. We enjoyed the infinity pool and beautiful view. There is a family of toucans that live in the tree close to the driveway. Also, capuchin would visit. There are a lot of critters, (bats, frogs, huge insects, and a friendly dog) that our kiddos loved seeing).The only hard thing about this home that I really want other families to be aware of is that the layout has each of the bedrooms disconnected from one another. The main living area is one building and has a bathroom and kitchen. Kitchen has all you need. The master bedroom is a separate building upstairs. You walk up a steep flight of stairs to access it. It has a large balcony with a beautiful view. The two guest bedrooms are separate buildings downstairs far away from one another. One is located on the left side of the living room building and the other on the right. We did not understand this when we booked, and had we known, we wouldn't have booked the home. I think this setup is awesome for couples or a family with adult children. However, our kids are younger (5,8,10,12) and we did not feel comfortable in another country in a remote setting (it is located way up in the mountains & you need 4 wheel drive) to have our young kids sleeping so far away from us. So we ended up all having to stay in one bedroom, which was less than ideal. For the right family, it would be amazing. Please just understand the sleeping situation if you have younger kids!"
