The hotel was clean and overall we had a comfortable stay. Some members of the staff were incredibly helpful and welcoming, although the level of service was a little inconsistent. We stayed during Mexican Independence Day, when road closures around the hotel made transportation especially challenging. While we understood that the closures were outside of the hotel’s control, there didn’t seem to be a clear plan for helping guests navigate them or arrange transportation. It would have been helpful for this to be communicated ahead of time, along with clear guidance on alternative pickup/drop-off locations. With a little more proactive communication during major events, the experience could have been much smoother.
