"The Alda is in a perfect location, on the "high street" and close to everything, but not noisy and feels very safe. The rooms are not fancy, but clean and comfortable. I could have used a dresser or just a few drawers. The Brass restaurant downstairs was great, and their breakfast was yummy and fresh. The staff were unfailingly helpful, with a special shout-out to the hardworking Ursula. We would happily stay again. "

"Lovely room. Noisy being in the cottage as people constantly walking up and down the outside walkway. Not private for the downstairs as people walking past can see inside the rooms so privacy screen would be good. Breakfast was exceptional. Instructions for the waffle maker would be useful as many people seemed to be struggling to make their own waffles... 😳 The on site restaurant was very expensive and so we chose not to go there even though it looks good. A discount or voucher for hotel residents might be useful. "
