Hotel Reykjavík Grand

"The hotel was clean and the daily breakfast was great. Room was clean and large. If you get a room that face the road , it’s very loud day and evening."

Fosshotel Reykjavik

10/10 Excellent
"We loved this hotel. Quiet and comfortable room. Everything in great working order. We purchased the breakfast when booking our rooms and it was great! The only complaint is that there wasn’t a place to sit and relax with friends, unless we wanted to pay for drinks at the bar. They badly need a space that has inviting seating for multiple small groups."

Hotel Viking

10/10 Excellent
"This was a fun hotel in a beautiful location and the restaurant next door had such great food and ambiance. The hot tub and sauna in the back are really fun. The only downside, which is a problem for most hotels in Iceland, is that the water in the bathroom really smells like sulfur. The free morning continental breakfast was amazing!"

"Great walkable location nearby to restaurants (food hall with multiple restaurants across the walkway outside the hotel’s main doors) and shopping. Also, the concert hall was a 5 min walk away, which also had a bus stop to easily catch any buses/shuttles to booked activities. Overall, it was a great location, tidy and well kept hotel with superb customer service."

Grandi by Center Hotels

Grandi by Center Hotels

10/10 Excellent
"The Grandi gets a 10/10 on every aspect that I consider during hotel research. The one consideration that one might take a second look at is location. While my wife and I are avid walkers, the distance you will find yourself from city central, the Harp and the most famous church in Iceland may give you pause. We walked to all of sights we wanted to see. Other may need to incur the cost of a cab or take the time to figure out their extensive bus system It was not an issue for us, because we always us the Hop On, Hop Off bus lines in all of our city travels."
