"The room was clean, bed & pillows comfy, convenient options for charging cellphones without needing an adapter. Decent blackout curtains for the midnight sun, great towel heater was helpful to dry our bathing suits after Sky Lagoon (only a 10 min drive away). Close to downtown London if driving (~45 min walk but not one I would recommend). The breakfast buffet was a highlight, abundant and fresh! Easy self parking. Would stay again!"

"room is clean and spacious, nice bathroom, the availability of an electric water kettle was great, breakfast is excellent except for a piece of hair I found in my wafflemix, but no big deal, as it happens, they should wear a hairnet when preparing food. Wifi is great, the only staff I met was the kitchen worker who was very nice. The only thing that really bummed me and my daughter was the lack of parking for late check ins, as we didn't know where to park because we don't understand your street signs. We had to drive around to look for a parking garage, the instruction was to park for a km. and a half from the hotel building but no specific street location. We finally stopped at a Lemon store parking lot and asked the locals who told us we can park right there at the grocery lot all nite. It was very frustrating."

Grandi by Center Hotels

"You will pay dearly for dining out in Rekyavik, so keeping that in mind, avoid the tourist trap restaurants and consider Grandi hotel / bar especially for lunch dinner... The breakfast bar offers many options and is always being replenished. However, the emphasis of our review is that the bar / restaurant is an excellent choice for dining out. The quality and presentation of the food options are consistently excellent. We initially tried some other restaurants of good reputation, and except for one meal, all were of excellent quality and service was friendly. That being said, we chose to eat most of our meals at the Grandi bar restaurant. At Grandi, the bar / restaurant service is exceptional. The menu is not huge, but there is definitely thought put into trying to offer something that will appeal to a range of tastes. In our opinon, the food and service far surpassed the other restaurants outside of the hotel and in the main tourist areas, especially considering the price point for dining out in Rekyavik. In particular, try the seafood soup, cauliflower wings, rack of lamb and ribeye steak. OUTSTANDING!!!!!"

Center Hotels Laugavegur

"Service: The front desk and customer service were top-notch and excellent. Dining & Value: We chose the half-board option. The hotel restaurant is very good and represents a great value. The Room: Very nice room. We opted for a balcony, which was wonderful for regulating the indoor temperature, letting in a fresh breeze, and catching some sun. Location & Convenience: The hotel is perfectly situated at the end of the commercial strip. Plus, there is a bus stop right outside for the airport Flybus and many local tours, which made getting around incredibly convenient. Overall, a wonderful experience in Reykjavik!"
