"I did not know the location of this hotel was outside of Reykjavik. It's a 20 minute walk. If you're up to it and don't need to be right in downtown, then this hotel is for you. I don't mind the walk and the free exercise. Plus I was just there for 1 night. I chose it for the free parking and parking in Reykjavik is not always easy. For me they're easy to find being used to urban driving. It's just the constantly being aware of how much time you got left and constantly feeding the meters...

"Because it is close to nearby things, the street sometimes was loud. Parking is on street, or parking garage. Only issue with the room, we had a corner room and shower head was handheld and at waist level. Not sure if all showers are like this one. "

"Such a cool spot! Just don't expect the typical hotel amenities such as a restaurant, staff, and so on. However, if you are looking for a place to stay that's a bit unusual and out of the way, look no further. Great for a couple or even small family if you choose the rooms with the lofts. I loved that the skylights and all the glass. Would definitely stay here again!"
