"Easy access to the airport. Cheap shuttle TO KEF. I wish there was a shuttle FROM KEF to avoid the 5000isk taxi fee! Good meal in the on site restaurant and keenly priced happy hour beer. Perfect for one night before travelling home."

"The location of the hotel was out of the central area where the shopping area is. It takes a good 5-10 minute walk to get to the closest restaurant. Doesn’t sound like much unless it’s raining and cold. The rooms are a good size compared to European hotels, but if you need two beds they can only offer small single beds. Nice bar and restaurant onsite. Breakfast buffet offered a good variety of food and drinks. Staff is friendly and helpful. Overall good hotel."

"The shower is a little tight and awkward being that water gets everywhere. Wish we had two floor towels to go around the area but didn't have enough. Could only sacrifice 1. Otherwise it was clean and everything worked, and the staff cleaning the room did a good job cleaning everything. Note there is no AC, only a heater as it's rare for it to be so warm you need AC in iceland. The kitchenette was a great add and so useful. It was stocked with almost everything needed, especially a Nespresso and kettle. Plenty of room in the suite apart from the washroom. Staff were friendly, although, one guy lost track of two bags we were storing with them before check in about two hours previous, but was able to find them. That portion was a little concerning, apparently they had done some moving around, but they did find them shortly after."

"The location of this stay is amazing. The layout of the rooms are great for families. The kids will love the loft. The communication with the staff was great after the initial confusion about self check-in verses checking in at the hotel. The bedding was clean. When we arrived, late at night, we discovered the sink was not draining. We contacted the staff and they said someone would be over to take a look at it. They arrived quickly. Because of our late arrival. This meant they showed up at midnight and were working in it until 1am. The gentleman helping do this was great. We later found out that he was the owner of the property. The staff told me that he still likes to get his hands dirty every once in awhile. He was able to make a temporary repair and explained to us that the proper fix would happen the next day. The next day we discovered the shower also didn't drain... There were also a couple issues with finish nails sticking out of the floor on the loft. This could be an issue with smaller children, but ours just steered clear of them. Even with these two small setbacks this stay was great. The location is wonderful. We didn't have time to partake in the hot tub or sauna before we left, but they looked clean and usable. The only true improvement I could think of is that they should have a person on-site to field any issues that may arise."
