"The Hotel entrance is off the main road and from the street you may miss it, However the ambience and staff give a warm impression and cozy stay. This hotel is not loaded with amenities, but it provides an excellent base to explore Iceland. It is also within easy walking distance of the center of town and numerous attractions. The city bus system has stops extremely close to the hotel which makes getting around economically easy. Which is important in Iceland :)"

"Property was in an excellent location with many sights, museums, restaurants, bars and bakeries within walking distance. The stop to catch the fly bus or the hop-on hop-off bus was just across the street next to the Harpa concert hall. They had lockers to hold your luggage if you arrived before your room was ready. The room itself was very small and I did not like the shower being directly on the bathroom floor that you had to squeegee to have a place to stand. The room was very warm and no thermostat to adjust. Only one small square window to open. We did not eat there."

"The hotel is well located in the center of town. The rooms are small and sparsely finished (note: no a/c for those travelling in the summer). Staff are very helpful. The hotel provides a continental breakfastand which is reasonably priced as compared to the local restaurants."

"Clean comfortable room with a decent restaurant in a great location. We stayed on the 4th floor and had a semi private balcony and a nice view. There is free limited parking available in the back of the hotel if you can grab a spot. Staff wasn't outright rude but not the friendliest people ..hence the 4 stars"

"This is a lovely hotel but two major concerns. First, is the very busy old town area with no parking provided by the hotel and extremely limited parking along the street. Second, is staffing in the dining area, at least during breakfast. Multiple tables not bussed, plates for items not washed/available, coffee run out and guests seeking refills. Finally someone arrived to tend to these things. But still some food items not replenished."
