This is a luxury hotel, it’s everything you’d need or want. It’s central, accessible & relatively good value - remember everything in Iceland is so much more expensive. The service was really good, the day I arrived from NYC they let me check in to my room at 7am - I’ve not been able to do that very often (ever)!

The hotel was great. Very close to downtown and the harbour. Was walking distance. Also had a bus stop outside where all the coaches stopped regularly for pickups and drop offs. The room was quite large and the bathroom was very clean and modern. The hotel and 3 places to eat. The beer garden, lobby bar and the Haust restaurant which was buffet style. The restaurant was quite expensive for a buffet and there wasn't much options for food in the bars even though it was cheaper. I wasn't impressed with the fitness centre. Was expecting a big gym with all the facilities but it was more of a small room. Overall i think this was a great hotel and would definitely recommend it to others.

Glad we picked the Fosshotel Reykjavík, absolutely fantastic place to enjoy what Iceland can offer. Location for us a must so we could easily walk into the city and the main streets and harbour are 10 mins. Tour Bus Stop 12 a pick up point for all your tours literally just out the hotel doors. After looking around at different hotels whilst there in Reykjavík as you are walking past , definitely made the right choice. Very impressed from the outside as well as in . Spotlessly clean throughout , staff friendly, welcoming and courteous. We had booked a tower room , large spacious, very clean , everything you need in the room , all the facilities you would expect. The main thing about a Tower Room was the views over the city , day and night, not sure any other hotel offers that. The other special mention must go to the Beer Garden pub within the hotel. Lovely place to chill after a day out , 30 different cask beers to choose from and we ate twice in the bar , the food was some of the best we had in Reykjavík. Breakfast was excellent in the Haust restaurant, loads of choice all excellent quality in nice surroundings. Sorry this is a bit long but it was that good , you would definitely not find better , the hotel ticks every box and we would definitely stay there again no hesitation it would take some beating.
