Great Digs in Iceland

Stayed here for a few days with family. Apartment was super quiet and it was easy to get places with our rental car. There is a grocery store nearby if you want to make food.

It was very neat, tidy!! Loved that it had a cooking station! Did coffee and tea every day!! Staff was not to friendly, but i found alot of Icelanders were not on the very friendly side unfortunately!

I stayed for a week and will definitely be back! Easy check-in, all the amenities I needed. Grocery right across the street. I had easy access into downtown as well as not having to fight traffic to get out of town to the countryside. Staff were quick to respond to any questions or requests I had. No noise issues and felt very safe.

The apartment had everything although there is questionable staining above the one window and lots of moisture around the window. Kitchen table has lots of scuff/tear marks in it which does not give the impression of care for furniture. Coffee provided are open and not individually packaged or sealed. The spare duvet for the pullout couch was also stained :( Water is hot and great pressure. Safe location

The room was clean. However, there is a gym directly underneath who do not care about the fact that it is a residential building. They BLAST music from 06:00 in their spin classes, as well as people slamming balls from the same time right up until 22:00. I was wearing earplugs and it still woke me up! I would not recommend if you want a good night’s sleep.

This apartment was a fantastic find! It's super convenient with a supermarket within walking distance, making it easy to grab groceries. While the gym was a bit of a hassle and only offered two free days before a charge, we still managed to make it work. The location is absolutely ideal for exploring the surrounding areas with a rental car, making day trips a breeze. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely choose to stay here again on our next visit! And the view 😍😍😍
