Great communication, hospitality at an all time high! Beautiful apartment! The only thing that we didn’t love was that there was construction going on at the apartment directly above us and it awoke us each morning due to the loud banging, but otherwise the stay was awesome! Very centrally located, very walkable. Would recommend!

Had a great experience at this property. Parking was under ground garage and a walkable grocery store just minutes away! And close by for any tour bus pick ups as well. Really clean and well maintained property. I highly recommend it for families.

We started our trip at Planet Apartments and it was the perfect landing spot - especially the underground parking. The apartment is spacious and the big windows make for great views. There are a few restaurants nearby and a small corner store for essentials. Getting in and out of Reykjavik is no problem from this location. We stayed 3 days and we drove out to Snaefellsnes Peninsula one day and Gullfoss the next. The day we visited in the city we walked everywhere. The apartment is close to the museums around the harbour and close enough to walk to the main area. We were a family of 3 and would highly suggest Planet Apartments to those looking to lock in a few days in Iceland.

Our stay at this property wasn’t great. As soon as you walk into the apartment, there is a strong odor, maybe that of a dog? Whatever it was, if you’re sensitive to smells, I wouldn’t recommend this place. I opened the balcony door and the windows to let fresh air in. It was recommended to open the windows anyways due to the apartment getting too hot. However, the noise from the street downstairs was so loud, especially at night, even with the door and windows closed. You could hear cars zooming by and people talking so loudly. The bathroom was very uncomfortable and everything felt smooshed together. The sink didn’t drain properly. The odor was strongest there. The bed didn’t have a headboard which felt uncomfortable. The parking garage in the basement was a bit difficult as well. It had a decent view of the Old Harbour which was nice but that’s about it.

This was a lovely apartment near the harbor and we had a wonderful time there. I wish I had had instructions on how to use either of the coffee makers in the kitchen. Beds were very comfortable and we loved the garage parking in a city that is parking challenged. Recommend.

The apartment was spacious, well equipped and lovely, and the views were wonderful! The location was ideal and there were many lovely restaurants in the area. We had a slight issue with the door and the owner was so quick to respond and remedy the issue. Reykjavik was amazing - Iceland is just beautiful, and the apartment was a safe perfect base. We can't wait to return to Reykjavik and would definitely love to stay here again!

Simply brilliant

Lejligheden ligger super centralt - gå afstand til det meste. Ren, velholdt og masser af plads. Super venlig vært der gjorde det muligt for os at blive en dag ekstra pga. dårligt vejr. Kan klart anbefale lejligheden som base for et par dage i Reykjavik.

Great place!

Had a great stay. Great communication and place was spotless clean. The view of the harbour is incredible and near some great restaurants. One thing to note, there is a small of Sulfur, which is not bad plumbing, but rather the natural water. Price to value compared to other nearby high end hotels is fantastic.

Wonderful views

We chose an apartment as we wanted a bit more flexibility and knew there'd be times we were in our room so wanted space to spread out...it was a great decision. On arrival it was underwhelming from the back, but once in, the apartment was spacious, well equipped and the views were wonderful out of the front, perfectly located in the marina. The hotel across the road was a pick up location for tours so it was ideal there and there were countless restaurants in the area. Reykjavik was great, Iceland just wonderful and the apartment was a safe perfect base.

Perfect place to stay In Reykjavik. The apartment is spotless and has everything you could need. The Sofa bed in the living room was perfect for the children, underground parking is really handy with a lift straight up to the apartment door and the view from the floor to ceiling window and balcony is amazing. Location is also great with lots of fantastic restaurants right on the doorstep and a walk into to the centre of town only takes 5-10 mins. Can’t say enough about this place. The whole experience is a credit to the owners.

Central location, close to restaurants and shops, with nice view over the harbors. Free parking place in an underground parking. The communication was good, the host was very helpful and responsive to all questions. The apartment was quite large and comfortable. We would suggest improving the cleaning services (the cleanliness of kitchen equipment, plates, cutlery, bed sets). The bathroom requires also a little renovation.

We loved the location with most of Reykjavik within easy walking distance. Our apartment had a balcony which was a great place to sit and relax with a cup of coffee or glass of wine while overlooking the old harbor. The owners were very responsive to all our requests.
