The stay was only for one night, but my absolute favorite part was the bedding and pillows - comfortable and warm! We also were able to make dinner for the night because of all the cooking utensils and pans offered - loved it!

The Sem Apartment was really well stocked. The area is perfect, just a short walk to the famous Reykjavik church. We enjoyed our one night stay despite the stinky water, although we learned this is typical in Icelandic homes along our travels.

Great location for downtown access. Everything is in walking distance. The apartment does not have blackout blinds or blackout curtains. It would be nice to add that in the bedrooms or at least advertise that blackout curtains are not available. Traveling in the spring / summer months with limited darkness can make sleeping difficult if you are light sensitive.

The 2 room apartment was comfy and great. Did not use kitchen. The beds were very good. The shower was just ok and there are not enough convenient outlets for several People with electronic devices. Wonderful neighborhood.

We loved our stay at Sem apartments. The location is perfect - within walking distance to a lot of stores and restaurants. And the main church in Reykjavik. Everything was very clean. The shower had good pressure. The beds were comfortable. And the kitchen was perfect to make some food for our ring road trip.

Great place overall. Be careful if you have heavy luggage, the path leading up to the house is loose gravel so that can be difficult. Rare find is there is a laundry but it in tiny if you’re coming from the US and may take multiple rounds. The apartment itself is clean, well stocked, and a perfect place to stay when in the city.
