"The Hlid Fisherman's Village was an incredibly peaceful and beautiful place to stay on our first visit to Iceland. It was only 15 minutes from Reykjavik but isolated enough that we felt like we were in our own world for the week. The rooms were lovely with great views of the water and local birds. We also appreciated having access to the hot tubs and sauna on site."

"Breakfast was really good with lots of options. Walked here from the Bus Station and could walk down to the shops and harbor easily. Miss having our own bathroom though, but at least we had a sink in the room."

"The studio was roomy enough and the breakfast was nice. Parking is very limited - ended up parking by the church a couple blocks away. The studio is 3 floors of stairs up. "
