A beautiful location, wonderful staff that made us excited to plan our next trip back. Luxurious rooms and a delicious meal planned where each dish was explained. What a wonderful stay.
This place was phenomenal! The staff are very attentive. There was any amenity you could possibly need. It’s located in the mountains and was so peaceful and private. We had a private onsen in our room and it was the best! I highly recommend getting their dinner. As we left they even gave us a souvenir of bath salts that looks high quality. My only regret is not being able to stay longer!
Extended our stay for a second night! Just perfect. Perfect perfect food, perfect access to Hakone loop, perfectly helpful staff. This was the most relaxing experience we’ve had in Japan and with the best staff imaginable. This place is a must see and must stay! Also, the robe and slippers were by far the most comfortable we’ve encountered
Nazuna Hakone Miyanoshita was such an amazing Ryokan. I will definitely stay again the staff were so friendly and kind. The Japanese style breakfast & dinner was phenomenal. I miss my Japanese Pajamas which were so comfortable. I regret not purchasing it.
This was a truly incredible experience. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay feel luxurious and relaxing.
Akiko (I hope I’m getting the name right!) from our Wagyu service was so wonderful. She was incredibly kind and patient with our English and ensured we had a fantastic experience. The food is some of the best we’ve had in Japan. Both the Wagyu and sukiyaki course were incredible and the staff played a very large role in that. Both nights we asked for our dessert in our room and it was fantastic! And of course, the room was so comfortable and the onsen was a dream. I will recommend this stay to anyone and everyone!
This was uniquely and wonderful Japanese experience. The staff went above and beyond to look after us and make us feel at home. The food and service was phenomenal. The location was amazing. We absolutely love our stay here and it has been the highlight of our stay in Japan.
We loved our stay at this beautiful property. The room (luxury twin) was spacious and private. It is in a quiet area but well connected by public transport systems. The staff were all very polite and attentive. The dinner and breakfast were some of the best meals we ate during our time in Japan.

This was a uniquely and wonderful Japanese experience. The staff went above and beyond to look after us. The food and service was phenomenal. The location was amazing. Although this is little more expensive it was well worth it as this has been the highlight of our trip to Japan and we will remember this long after we have returned home.
Beautiful scenery around this property. Our onsen on the deck was so relaxing. From the deck we could see the river below. The staff was friendly and helpful. The included food was delicious. We hope to come back one day!
Overall, this is a great property. Hakone is a special place, and the rooms really capture that traditional ryokan atmosphere.
The in-room onsen is incredible. The water feels amazing, you can control the temperature, and being outdoors surrounded by nature makes the experience even more special.
The food is also excellent, both dinner and breakfast are high quality and very traditional Japanese style.
Me and my husband stayed here and had the best experience. The room was very clean, and very nice. Location was great & bus stop was right outside. The onsen was amazing. Other than the room itself being amazing, the staff was extraordinary. They were very kind, polite, and attentive. Ryota prepared our dinner and he was so kind. The dinner & breakfast were both so tasty. We for sure will be coming back on our next trip to Japan!
Most amazing hotel experience ever! Private onsen on the large, extended, private balcony overlooking the mountains and waterfalls. Glass shower with direct glass passthrough to the balcony. Spacious room, super comfy bed. Tatami mats in living area felt so good after miles of hiking. We had private dining for dinner and breakfast, and staff were very accommodating of food allergies, even making an immediate change for the welcome snack. Both meals consisted of multiple courses prepared for us at our table, and the substitute breakfast was just as balanced and delicious as the usual offering. Staff were very welcoming and made us feel like VIPs. Staying at Nazuna was the perfect ending to our trip, and I cannot recommend it enough.
Came here with a group of friends and left feeling like we’d been welcomed into someone’s home. The staff was warm without being over the top, attentive without hovering. Our chef even put together games for us, which we absolutely did not expect and loved.
The room was gorgeous and spacious — and the private onsen bath was the perfect way to wind down each evening. Everything felt genuinely cared for.
Already planning the next visit.
My wife and I stopped in Hakone for a one night stay during our 2 week visit to Japan. Nazuna Hakone Miyanoshita was simply amazing to say the least. The staff were very accomodating and know basic English which made catering to our requests a lot easier. A trafitional breakfast and dinner was included in our stay. Both were delicious and very filling. The room itself is spectacular with amazing views, with the best part being the private onsen, which was nothing short of spectacular. Our only regret is that we didn't stay longer. If you book at Nazuna Hakone Miyanoshita, you will absolutely not be disappointed. Extremely well worth it and a must do.
Exceptional! We couldn’t have asked for a better experience & hospitality from the Nazuna Staff. From check-in and accommodations, everything was seamless. The private rooms are very spacious with plenty of walking space but the best part was the Onsen. You just can’t go back to public anymore. Breakfast & Dinner was amazing. We did not feel rushed during both meals, the Chefs and staff explained everything throughout the course. If you’re looking for an Onsen for the first time. This is the spot! Look no further.
Super beautiful place, service was excellent, the room was superb, the meals was great. They mostly used local food and grilled them infront of us.
A perfect place to relax after a long week in Tokyo.
A bit on the higher end, but i would definitely say it was worth it!
Lovely property and service by staff. Location is limited and walking not necessarily safe due to roads not having footpaths. Easy access to bus and taxi if needed otherwise. Room was high quality and onsen comfortably fits 2.
