This stay was excellent, the location and onsens were incredible. From the private onsen in your room to the public onsen, it was a great experience. If you can absolutely recommend you take the meal option it's incredible for dinner and breakfast in the ryokan.

If you’re traveling to Hakone, this hotel offers a private in-room hot spring. I would highly recommend it to anybody who’s looking to relax. The room is large and spacious, and so is the bath and shower. It was truly a relaxing few days that I spent in Hakone.

Quite location with a grocery store nearby. Rooms are quite dark and could be cleaner, especially the sofa and in room onsen would deserve an upgrade. Plenty of food for dinner and breakfast, however, we would prefer less but better quality. Onsen with the forest view was nice.

It was a good deal for the stay here. Both lunch and dinner were a lot for one person. The hot spring here is okay, not that nice because public bath is nothing interesting with just one big bath inside and one outside. The problem is the staffs don't speak English well and don't try to explain or tell you about their amenities and things they have or do there. Everything was good except for experience with staffs in the lobby and I found hair twice in both my lunch and dinner, which is unacceptable and ruined my experience for a ryokan. Oh and prepare for back pain with the futon bed if you're booking that here.

Room was clean loveeee the private warm bath in our room. It was pure bliss sitting in the bath hearing natures outside. Food was good and very generous - glad we booked food with our room as theres not a lot of place to eat around esp if you don’t have a car. Very convenient with the bus stop and family mart right outside. Was a very nice peaceful break from Tokyo.

We had an amazing stay at this onsen hotel. The traditional Japanese dinner and breakfast were delicious and made the experience feel very authentic and immersive. The rooms were beautiful, and having a private onsen in the room was a huge plus. The staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive throughout our stay. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a relaxing and authentic Japanese ryokan experience!! :)

This was the best place I stayed on my recent Japan trip. If you're doing "The Hakone Loop", you might miss it, as if you catch the ship to Motohakone on Lake Ashi you will end up a while away. But! The staff here are lovely, the onsens are amazing, the dinner is phenomenal (and unbelievably huge), the rooms have a lovely atmosphere and are so comfortable, there's a bar with unlimited free drinks, and it's easily accessible via the Hakone Tozan Bus. It's right next to a convenience store too, if that's important to you. I'll remember my stay here for a long time!

The hotel is a wonderful oasis in Hakone, very quiet and serene. The rooms are comfy, it has a toilet, shower and an onsen. Theres also a public onsen which is beautiful and the restaurant is in both the main building and the annex. Theres free drinks at certain times, you use the yukatas provided, so many amenities. Great stay
