Good place except some details
When we arrived, the gardener's car blocked the entrance; he emphasized that we were 10 min early. I had to contact the manager to get him out. About an hour after we checked in, some random guy walked all over the patio and became passive-aggressive when I mentioned it was a private area. I had to contact the manager again; it turned out it was the gardener's son; she took care of it. The sinks in bathrooms are awful; it's impossible to wash your hands without scratching the skin (or your hands should be tiny). The downstairs sink was leaking; we had to apply the towels and change them throughout the stay. There are ants in the house, especially around the windows. The non-perishable food I left on the kitchen table was covered in ants in the morning. Parking mentions space for four cars - not true, the whole gate gets blocked by random people, and my husband couldn't park there the next day.

Very happy
Lovely and very well equipped property right on the edge of the water. We were 4 adults and were comfortably accommodated in the spacious property enjoying high end appliances and good quality linen, towels etc. All of our needs had been anticipated and catered for. The views are lovely and cafes are walking distance. You will need a car to visit the wider area but with private and secure parking at the property this is not a problem. Would certainly recommend.

So Much Potential
The location is simply amazing. We were beyond excited to have 4 days at this property. The morning we were supposed to arrive we received a text from the owner with check in info. We replied asking if we got there slightly before the 3pm check in if that would be permissible. Her one line, curt response was "3pm is check in". Upon arrival we were overwhelmed with the lack of cleanliness. Our children ages 8, 5 and 2 immediately took notice. Counters filthy, bedding appeared to have feces on it, light switches soiled, ants crawling all over. One of the pendents hanging above the kitchen island was nearly falling down and there was additional exposed electrical wiring in the children's bedroom. The property is listed as having a washing machine and dryer, when we sent the owner a text asking about the location again the reply was very argumentative and flat rude. They denied having stated the property had those so we had to send screenshots and pictures of their own marketing material to remind them. Some other notes that would be important to travelers are this property does not have televisions, iron, ironing board, sufficient quantity of flatware or plates, many plates are chipped, could only locate 2 glass wine glasses, one of which had a large chip in it. This property could truly be a magical place. With a touch of hospitality, cleaning and addition of basic amenities that even a 2 star hotel would have.

I would encourage anyone who is reading this to cross reference this review with our listing on Airbnb where we average a 4.9/5 with over 100 reviews. Camille, I am sorry if this stay didn’t live up to your expectations, however, it is very disappointing to see your false claims posted here. Firstly, if there was feces on your bed as you claimed then why would you stay for 4 nights and provide us with any stars in this review. I’m sure that anyone that would have experienced something like that would leave immediately and demand a refund. Second, we never claimed to have a TV. This is a beach front vacation home that is meant to be a place to unplug and unwind. Third, we would challenge you to please point out where on this website we claimed to have a washer and dryer. You pointed out that the welcome flyer that our cleaning crew put on the kitchen counter mentioned a washer, however, this welcome flyer was old and outdated. We have been sure to update all online listing to make sure guests expectations were set properly. This did not become an issue with you until you saw the welcome flyer. As for the cleanliness, we have a cleaning service come through after every guest as is industry standard. We have never received a review of this kind and have over 100 reviews on Airbnb with cleanliness being one of our top performing categories. The base plate on the ceiling light did come loose and wires were exposed, however, this was repaired immediately after checkout.

Excellent on many levels!
My wife and I have visited HMB many times over the years with our young children...fast forward 20+ years, we recently took the opportunity to all meet at this great property for a few days. Needless to say, a great time had by all...what's not to love about: Spectacular sunrises/sunsets, glasses of wine by the outdoor firepit or hot-tub, paddle-boarding within a few steps walking distance, high-end/cozy accommodations...the list goes on! Thank you again Mirela, you were a wonderful host and we cant wait to visit again!

Family vacation
This was a great house to stay in. Lots of space inside and great outdoor sitting areas with fire pits, hot tub, sauna. Right on the beach with private access and close enough to walk on the beach to Mavericks surf break or to the town center for dinner or shopping. Well stocked with amenities including wet suits and paddle boards. The house is private with a fence along the road with remote access opening to the driveway. The neighborhood you go through to get to the house is a mix of industrial and residential which was interesting. But once you enter through the private gate entrance to the house, your in your own little private bubble. Great stay.
