Stylish Seaside Guest House, Walking to Beach

A perfect getaway on the coast with fresh air, long sandy beaches, many biking/hiking trails, and some local quaint restaurants, our place is 10minutes walk to the famous Maverick Beach, Sam Chowder House, and the Harbor. This stylish guest house is the 1st floor of our seldom used beach house in El Granada, 4 miles north of Half Moon Bay. It has a private entry, a fully equipped kitchen, even a laundry/mud room and on-site parking. You'll enjoy this quiet, spacious, and very comfortable home.

    Great neighborhood and clean place to stay

    We loved staying here. It was very close to the beach (walkable), and a short drive to half moon bay. Mavericks beach is right across this street and down the road which is also a must see.

    Great beach getaway

    Clean and comfortable stay at a great location. Directions to get into the apartment were a bit confusing but the host answered immediately and helped us quickly. We appreciated her responsiveness and had a great stay

    Great spot!

    Location is great, super close to the beach. Very clean and nicely decorated. Loved that we were able to bring our dog. There’s no fenced in yard, so potty breaks have to be walks, just think that’s worth noting. Would stay here again.

    Weekend at the Bay

    The property was clean and neat. Close to the marina and downtown. We didn't anticipate the stairs to the unit. It was nice to have someplace close to our weekend activities. We were a little disappointed in the lack of space for luggage or hanging our clothes. We also could have used some instruction on how the heating system worked. Overall it was comfortable and a nice space for 2 people.

    Wonderful Weekend Beach Getaway!

    We had such a great stay here, very clear instructions and great communication with property manager. Diana was wonderful and accommodated our early check in. It is so nice to find a place that welcomes dogs, our dogs had such a fun time as well :) the space was roomy, cute, clean and had everything we needed! definitely recommend staying here and we can’t wait to return!

    The property was convenient to CA 1 and all it has to offer! Amenities were as described and met our needs. If you have accessibility needs, this property has stairs to climb to reach the unit. The property host responded quickly to our questions and provided a good experience. We would stay here again and recommend this property!

    Owner might want to consider purchasing some comfortable furniture. The bedroom mattress seemed a bit overused, and they are in definite need of furniture in the TV room. Other than the location, I would neither come back, nor recommend anyone I know staying there.

    Overall great experience

    Husband and I are both born & raised in Half Moon Bay. We needed a home base for the holidays and this was the perfect option. Could spend time with family all day, then head back to our own spot at night. Will definitely suggest this to our friends still living in HMB, when they have family/friends visiting and need a spot of their own.

    This 1 bedroom portion of the home was very quiet and comfortable. Check in was easy with a saved parking space. The area is right near Oceano Hotel and shops.

    Perfect little home that is close to everything: beach, restaurants, trails. Very clean and had all the amenities needed for a nice stay. We appreciate that such a beautiful place is dog friendly and would definitely return in the future.

    Rental process and check-in went smoothly. We slept badly because the bed was worn-out and placed against two walls so only one side was accessible. The furnace has to be turned off at night because it makes the bedroom too hot. Garden, deck, Bathroom & living room were lovely.

    We loved the deck and the landscaping! Great location for walking and visiting the neighborhood. We managed to cook 3 gourmet dinners with items from the farmers’ market and New Leaf market. The night breeze from the ocean was lovely and neighbors were very quiet. Great experience overall!

    This place has everything you want and need. Great location. We took our dogs to the beach, hiking and everywhere in between. Also close to Half Moon Bay. Will definitely stay her again!
