"Great place for home base! Beaches, the Lighthouse, the Marina and all those cute shops!This home is just a short walk to Blackbeards Brewery, the Tsunami is delicious, so is the beer and don’t forget dessert!Lovely home to come home to after a long day of playing with your dog on the beach. There is everything you could possibly need including an ice machine for cold beverages on a warm day. There are lawn chairs so you can sit outside and watch deer walk down the street-stopping to eat in the yard next door.I would recommend this rental. Close to just about any seafood you could possibly want. Friendly staff and friendly locals everywhere."

"The house was clean, except for the floors. All floors were filthy. I asked for a possible early arrival when I booked. We ended up having to wait until 4:20 for cleaning to be done. The check out list says to load the dishwasher…..there is no dishwasher. Should be more dish towels for when we did do the dishes. There is a washer and dryer on the property. But no laundry soap. The folded towels on the shelf were damp. Other than the floors the place was clean and tidy. We came to fish. The location is excellent. There’s even a fish cleaning station out back. Honestly, we stayed here three years ago and had no issues."
