"We stayed at this property ahead of moving our son into his university dorm. It was a perfect location, easy to get everywhere and a grocery store only a 5 minute walk. There was plenty of room to store our things and we really appreciated the covered car port. The house was very clean and the owners responsive. We would not hesitate to stay here again. My only suggestion to future guests would be to bring some sugar packets if you like it in your coffee :)"

"If you are looking for something a little different, this is the place for you. The shared spaces are fantastic (beautiful plants and decor), plus there are 2 beautiful outside spaces: backyard with hot tub and sauna; large rooftop patio with lounge seating and fantastic view.There is a large shared kitchen area, which is well stocked. I was surprised that there was even a bar area, where you can purchase alcohol. A welcome snack awaited me, plus breakfast was served at the time I asked....

"Lord Nelson Hotel & Suites was exceptional, clean, quiet, and unique. Staff were very helpful & friendly. Rooms were amazing with service everyday to replenish water, coffee/tea and towels. Easy access to downtown and the public gardens across the street were amazing. Parking was easy and accessible."

"I recently stayed at the Four Points by Sheraton Halifax and had a very positive experience overall. The location is excellent—close to the waterfront, restaurants, and many local attractions. The hotel was very clean and well-maintained, and the staff were friendly, professional, and always willing to help. One area that could be improved is the fitness center. While functional, it could benefit from additional equipment and some modernization. The restaurant and bar area is spacious, comfortable, and inviting, but it seemed surprisingly quiet during my stay. It may be worth exploring ways to create a more vibrant atmosphere and attract more guests to enjoy the space. Overall, a great stay with excellent service, and I would happily return on my next visit to Halifax."

"Just a good place to stay. A little hard to find; Google Maps live helped me out, make sure your smartphone’s battery is charged. Construction is nearby, just close the windows and you’ll sleep in just fine. Staff is limited but very friendly and very helpful. My room was missing TP; so I call front desk. House phone unplugged! I replug the phone, and call front desk and within minutes I had TP. They use fabric softener in their bedsheets and towels; if you are allergic or fragrance sensitive, let staff know ahead of time. Other than that, good place. Near a bus stop, drug store and other essentials."
