"Cons: PARKING is far away, in Scotia Square. You have to walk a long way with your luggage, but at least we were able to walk through buildings and follow signs. It was a bit tricky. Also the antennae of our truck (Tacoma) was scraping on some parts of the parking garage. 😳 I don't know where normal trucks would park. OUTDATED. The heat in the room was not updated. I was a little confused as to how it worked. There was a nob that read, off low med high. That turned on a fan/vent. There was a thermostat beside that where I could turn the dial to 70, but I wasn't sure if that actually did anything or if you needed the fan on to get any heat. I did not want the fan on all the time because it was a little loud. CARPET. The carpet in the room didn't look pleasant, old stains. POOL. The pool was in the 2nd floor. It was relatively small and too cold for me. I was sad I couldn't go in with my son. TV. The TV guide didn't seem accurate. Everything I chose to put on was not what actually came on. ROOM CARDS: We back went down 3 times because the cards wouldnt work. We didn't know to not put them with your phone! Your phone will wipe the card. Terribly weak coffee in our room. Pros FRIENDLY STAFF, CLEAN, COMFORTABLE. My son had fun in the pool."

"We found everything amazing except for one important item which was the pillows. We love having four pillows but they should have included two softer pillows along with the more firmer pillows that were provided. Other than that we had an amazing stay as usual. Thank you so much! "The lobby of the building mislead the conditions of the room. Rooms were small the bed was lumpy, and when sleeping if someone turned on a pipe you would hear them knocking. We could not sleep. Plus they put a 200 damage deposit hold on my credit card. Not sure what their is to damage the entire place needs to be gutted "

"Clean room and property, breakfast is good, our room with 2 queen beds had lots or extra room. Staff is friendly and helpful. The connected hotel can make parking difficult when they are busy as parking is limited. However parking is available behind the hotel next to the fast food places. I stayed many times at this hotel and has always enjoyed the stay. "

"I had a wonderful stay at Armadale Retreat. The host was incredibly communicative and welcoming. The location was perfect. And the accomodation was comfortable. Super clean, a warm atmosphere, all the amenities needed, and very quiet and peaceful - especially appreciated being on a work trip. I would stay again and recommend highly.Thank you again Antonio "
