Great place and very private location. Awesome. We will for sure be back. Communication with the host was great. With the winds the non AC for a Texas person was really just fine. Kept perfectly cool. Having all the beach chairs and umbrellas was a big help.

We stayed here for our 10th anniversary celebration. Wow, we so enjoyed the house. The view was incredible. It felt rather luxurious having our own private courtyard (with parking) and private access to the beach. After much driving around, I think the house is in one of the most beautiful locations on the island (Haena/Hanalei).

North Shore Family of 6 adults get away

We had the best time staying here for 7 nights. The house is right on the ocean and the beauty is what you dream of when you think of Hawaii. Everything lived up to what Steve posted on VRBO. My favorite was the master bedroom and with the windows open with the breeze and waves you felt like you were sleeping on the beach.

Wonderful house and a fabulous beach

Location, location, location. We love the sound of surf, snorkeling and hanging out on the beach and this house gave us everything we wanted. The house was well equipped, the ocean breeze kept the house very comfortable, and Steve was fabulous. When we return to Kauai we will book again. It was perfect.

This was a wonderful property - everything was better than advertised. The views were amazing! The access to the beach (really the back yard of the property) was better than advertised. The host (Steve) was very helpful and communicative - offering recommendations, checking in to make sure everything was OK, etc.We had four people in our group but the home could easily have accommodated two more. The three bedrooms and three bathrooms were all great. There were two decks - an expansive deck at the back overlooking the ocean and a smaller deck (also with a view) off the master.Having the grill available was great and we did not need to buy any beach "toys" - snorkels, chairs, floats, etc. were all provided.Highly recommended and plan to return ourselves!

Amazing location within stumbling distance to beach and mesmerizing ocean waves.

A great place to stay on the North Shore of Kauai overlooking never ending rolling waves with a beautiful view from a spacious deck. A night sky filled by the Milky Way with stars connected together by the reflected lights of others. A big house with total privacy in a quiet neighborhood

Fantastic location

Gorgeous views from many rooms. We loved our stay at this special place. Well stocked home and very spacious. Easy to check in and Steve was very helpful and responsive. House was very clean. Beach access is so easy and location not too far from Hanalei Bay. Highly recommend!

Perfect spot for family getaway. Quiet, a nice snorkeling spot, and overall…absolutely wonderful!! It rained heavily one day, so the ceiling in master bath dripped a bit. Hint to dishwasher- push buttons, then close the door.

Perfect Vacation

We have never stayed in a house so close to the ocean in Hawaii. It was amazing. The sounds of the ocean, the monk seal coming to rest on the beach right in front of the house, the back porch directly above the beach, the cleanliness of the house…it was all perfect. Thank you for a wonderful vacation.

Basically a private beach retreat

Or stay was awesome. The house was fully equipped. Beds and living space were very comfortable. The location really couldn’t have been better. We spent a lot of time on the beach right in front of the property and it was an awesome beach walk to Tunnels Beach area.

If you are looking for a dream vacation, this is the place. Wonderful house, plenty of room for 6 adults. Clean, fully equipped kitchen. We made a number of meals here. Snorkeling off the beach was fabulous. There is a horseshoe shaped reef to the left of the property that is teaming with beautiful fish. The neighbors were very friendly. Steve, the host, is awesome!! He is quick to reply and very responsive. We visited 4 islands and this was our favorite, in part, because of the house.

Location was supreme

We spent 7 nights at the home. It provided ample space for 6 adults. The view from the windows and balcony were priceless. It truly had everything we needed. We swam right behind the home and snorkeled. A must.

Exactly what we were looking for!

The location of the property cannot be beat! Was very peaceful and obviously gorgeous..will definitely be staying here on our next trip! Home had everything we needed and beds were extremely comfortable! We had a monk seal visit us directly in front of the house, and 3 sea turtles swimming around in front as well! We love all the colorful birds that land on the balcony. Family of 6 (3generations) had plenty of room..thank you Steve!

Just a magical house and destination

I functionally stay in high end resorts for a living so I've seen a bit. The house was amazing, right on the sand, the teens snorkeled functional right in front of the house and saw turtles etc. The overall location is simply magical, it doesn't get any better. The owner Steve was fantastic on communication, helped easily with a few pre trip things. We will definitely be returning !!

Amazing location - best beach!

We had an amazing stay in Hanalei! Love the north shore and you cannot beat this location, this beach, and these VIEWS! Steve was incredibly responsive and a wonderful host. We had discussed there being a pack and play there prior to our stay and we couldn’t find one upon arrival. We contacted Steve about where to possibly buy one ourselves and he had his manager drop one off in less than an hour and told us to enjoy our vacation! Great stay!

Phenomenal location and view

We loved staying in this home! The beach and deck were a great place to watch the waves, the whales and even a Monk Seal. The Ocean sounds were a perfect background to a great stay. The beach was a great place for our kids to play in the sand. We also loved star gazing at night!I bet in the summer the snorkeling is amazing but the currents were too strong to do much in Feb.The home does have a few quirks and hiccups- but nothing that affected our wonderful stay! The property manager was helpful with questions and was very prompt with getting us informationI would absolutely stay here again- It was so nice to be away from the busier parts of the island.

Lovely home in haena!

Thanks so much for hosting us at your wonderful home. It was super clean and just like the photos. The beach right in front of the property was gorgeous and you can walk to the point (1 min walk) and be in sandy water with no rocks. All the amenities were great and Steve was extremely easy to contact. The house is like a ten minute drive from restaurants/stores in Hanalei. The place was so nice! Would definitely stay here again! Thank you!
