  • Hokulele Hale is a three-bedroom two bath single family home.
    This home is located at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac just 125 yards from the famous Hanalei Bay Beach. The property is set back from the street on a flag lot and is adjacent to several acres of undeveloped land lending an unparalleled sense of peace and tranquility. From the bedrooms and the lanais, there are lovely views of the waterfalls towering over Hanalei town

    The large back lanai is furnished with comfortable furniture and looks out toward the creek on the neighboring property and undeveloped land beyond where the lovely melody of birds can be heard all day. It is a place where you and your family can sit and enjoy the peaceful island breeze and the untainted views.

    The house boasts lovely decor, tile floors, and granite counters. There is a 550-square-foot tastefully decorated loft. A large kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher, five-burner range, a garbage disposal, and hundreds of square feet of counter space to provide for all your family's dining needs. The adjoining dining room has flexible seating. A 300-square-foot covered lanai is located outside of the kitchen if you prefer to dine outside.

    The gardens surrounding the house have been lovingly landscaped with dozens of varieties of tropical flowers and foliage. The scent of pikake, plumeria, and gingers waft through the house on the gentle island breeze. You will find the beautiful and unusual heliconia flowers in an amazing variety of colors and shapes.
    In the midst of this incredible yard, you will also find a private outdoor shower with hot and cold water where you can peacefully bathe under the stars.

    Our special island home has been rejuvenated with love and special attention to detail. We are sure you will find it both comfortable and relaxing. We are a local family who wish to share our Aloha with you and your family. Come to Hokulele Hale and find a place that you can call your home away from home.

    Please familiarize yourself any travel warnings. It is imperative that if you plan to go on vacation that you purchase travel insurance in the event that you cannot travel due to illness, natural disasters or other. Hanalei is in a tsunami zone and Hawaii does experience occasional hurricanes as well as flooding. When you arrive, please familiarize yourself with evacuation procedures located in our home. The house is lovely in a beautiful location. We walked to the beach every day. There is lots of room for everyone and everything! The owner is very kind and helpful! Just wish there was something we could do about those 4am rooster wake up calls!!!

The house was amazing! So close to the town of Hanalei. Just a few blocks to the beach. Everything we needed was within walking or biking distance. The house has a fantastic wrap around deck with a large overhang so there was a lot of outside time in the several gathering spaces. Ann was great to work with. Super receptive to any questions. Has a really thorough and helpful guide she put together at the house. We will definitely stay here again when we return to Hanalei. We loved everything about it!!Thank you!!

Wonderful stay in Hanalei!

Our stay in Hanalei was nothing short of amazing. The property was perfect for a quiet beach vaxarion, conveniently located near the beach as well as shops and restaurants, and check in and out were a breeze. Mahalo to Ann for being such a fantastic host!

Wonderful stay

We had a wonderful stay. Thank you Ana for your incredible communication and help. This house was well equipped, with lots of things for our young kids, and we loved being so close to the beach.

Great place

We loved this rental. The location was great, and it was a very easy walk to the beach. The kitchen was well stocked and there were plenty of places to hang out in the house. Highly recommend.

Great location!

We had a great stay in Hanalei! The house was very comfortable, with a large and well-stocked kitchen and great outdoor space on the lanai. It was also great to be able to walk to the beach! I would happily visit again.

Fantastic Vacation Home

This is the second year we've stayed at this location and again had a wonderful time. The house lovely - very clean, comfortable, well stocked and in a great location. Ann is a great host and kept us updated on changes upon our arrival. We look forward to returning next year!

Wonderful property

Great property to stay at. Peaceful surroundings in a quiet neighborhood. The house is large and spacious and very well kept. It is a short walk to the beach and into town. We are hopeful that we get to return to this wonderful property in the future.

Great house for family vacation

The house was a great spot for our family vacation. We stayed with 6 adults and two kids under two. It had everything we needed and even great stuff for the toddlers. Easy walk to the beach and a wagon for the kids to ride in. Great big kitchen for homemade meals. Loved the outdoor shower for after the beach. Ann is super nice and took care of everything we needed. Would definitely stay again!

Our stay at this home was just wonderful. The house is lovely - extremely comfortable, well stocked and clean. The location is perfect - quick walk to the beach and many restaurants. Great getaway

We had a wonderful stay at Ann’s home. The house was perfect for 4 adults and 2 children. Great location with a 5 minute walk to the beach or the shops and restaurants. The kitchen is well stocked and there is plenty of beach gear. The covered lanai was where we spent most of our time at the house and it was perfect for enjoying some rainstorms. Highly recommended!

Great House and Great Location

This home was perfect for our vacation and the owner was really good to work with. We loved the open floor plan and the patio deck where we spent a lot of our time watching the waterfalls when it rained. We walked to the beach and the town center (close to everything). The home was clean and came as advertised. We would come back in a heartbeat.

Everything One Could Need in paradise

This home was perfect for our stay. The kitchen was so well stocked. We loved using the ninja blender for Island fresh smoothies in the morning. The layout worked well for our group and the location is ideal. Nothing beats being able to walk to Hanalei bay. We loved using the outdoor shower. Ann was so accommodating, great communication.

Second Time Around!

This is not the first time we have stayed in this lovely home. Having had such a great stay on our last visit, we booked again to celebrate my birthday. I love that Hanalei Town and Pavilions Beach are just a short walk away. I also love that we can spread out on the lanai and read, play cards/games or just rest after a day out. The entire home is comfortable and our host Ann is easy to contact should you need anything.

Perfect location for a relaxing getaway

I couldn't say enough about how much we loved our stay. Beyond being in a great spot to take short walks to the beach or into town, our group (adults and teenagers) really were impressed. The kitchen was stocked with everything you would need, including a stand-alone ice-maker! The back lanai was a natural gravitation point for our evening get-togethers, and Ann has her guests well taken care of when it comes to overall comfort, with comfortable beds and more than enough fans to keep the air flowing nicely. If you're looking for a very relaxing, chill vacation in a scenic beach town, you've come to the right place!

We stay in Hanalei often, and this home was truly exceptional. It was perfect for two families with children—spacious, comfortable, and thoughtfully set up in a way that makes traveling with kids feel easy. The location is ideal: close to everything, yet still very private and peaceful.The home itself has everything you need, while also feeling lived-in in the best way—welcoming, relaxed, and not overly precious, which made it especially comfortable with young kids.Anne was hands down the best host we’ve ever had. She kindly allowed us to check in early when the house was ready, which made a huge difference after a long travel day with two exhausted kids. She made no promises, but it worked out and we were so grateful.To top it off, we accidentally left behind our child’s absolute favorite (mission-critical!) blanket. Anne went above and beyond to help get it back to us. That level of care is rare.Honestly, one of the best stays we’ve had. Highly, highly recommend.

Awesome location, house, and host!

This house is amazing and had such a great stay. The location is perfect and we were able to walk to the beach and local restaurants. The house itself is kept in very good condition and has all the things needed for a great stay including beach items like chairs and umbrellas and boogie boards. There were fresh linens and plenty of sleeping supplies. We had a large group and I researched many houses in Hanalei and for the price point and comparable houses this is the best deal you can find on any website. Also the host is fantastic and easy to reach, checkin and checkout was simple. Overall 5/5 and would recommend, just book it!

We were here to celebrate our family and enjoy time together in a beautiful setting. We were all quite comfortable. We enjoyed the outdoor spaces, and the indoor ones, too. The view from the loft is amazing, and we could catch a bit of it from a corner of the lanai as well. Its location by the river made for a very natural feel outdoors. Easy access to all parts of Hanalei made for fun times in town and at the beach. Everything worked great, and everything was clean. Ann was very responsive when I inquired with questions, and the whole vibe was warm and inviting. Would definitely rent this house again if circumstances warrant a space this big.

amazing

first and foremost ann is totally an amazing host. the few things we had questions on - she responded right away. second the property is well maintained and totally stocked with just about anything you could ask for - especially in the kitchen - if it isnt in ann's kitchen more than likely they dont make it. as others have said its like 2 blocks from one of the most gorgeous beaches anywhere, and there is shopping and dining within a 8-10 minute walk. where as in alot of other places in kauai you have to drive for anything and everything. Hanalei Bay is a perfect hawaiin vacation. the only drawback to the north shore area is its a drive to get to anywhere else on the island. but the house is your perfect hawaiin getaway. especially after a weather front moves thru - 2 blocks away and we could hear the waves crashing all night as we slept.

Highly Recommend! 9 days in paradise!

I highly recommend Ann’s beautiful home in Hanalei Bay. It was the perfect location! A short walk (a couple minutes) to the beach or into town. No need to drive or look for that parking spot! We’ve been to Kauai with the family a few times and by far Hanalei Bay is my favorite place to be. Nothing is more beautiful so I was so happy to find Ann’s home available when we wanted to go! The home is situated on a very quiet street surrounded by lush tropical foliage. So many birds! I loved waking up to sketch or read on her wrap around lanai! The kitchen is stocked with great spices and basic ingredients (coffee/sugar/olive oil, etc) which made cooking super easy as we didn’t have to go buy all the extra things! Also boogie boards, snorkel gear, chairs, and umbrellas are there to use, which makes a day at the beach so easy and fun! Ann is a super receptive host and whenever I asked her a question she would respond within minutes! We can’t wait go back there again!
