"This hotel was overall good! The location was great, it was around an 8 minute walk to where the markets get busy - a lot of food options in that area too. Very modern and chic rooms. Staff were very kind and greeted us every time we entered/left the building. The breakfast was also excellent, a lot of options in the mornings and the staff there are just as kind every morning. The bedding/room was clean and towels were changed everyday. The only issue we had was that our room had a blocked drain in the shower, we raised an issue about it when we first checked in but unfortunately it was never resolved and resulted in uncomfortable showers as the water would fill up and made us feel dirty. "

"My husband and I spent 4 nights at this hotel and had a really great time. The staff were helpful and super friendly, and the location is excellent. The breakfasts were always delicious, and the rooftop view was amazing. We’ll definitely go back next time!"

"Would never book this hotel again. Those with mobility issues would have problems, even with the elevator. It doesn’t stop at floor level. You always have to go up a flight or down a flight of stairs to get to your room. Very noisy - street noise and within the building. Our room did not even face the street and that night’s sleep was the worst of our two week trip."

"This is my “go to” hotel when traveling for work in Hanoi. The staff know me and even when my flights are cancelled and I come in a day later at 11pm, they whisk me to my room quickly and assign me a very quiet room. This is like the 4th time I’ve stayed at this hotel as I much prefer this area rather than in the heart of the old quarter. It’s slightly quieter and the lake is only a 3 minute walk for those early morning walks when I’m jet lagged. Buffet breakfast is great with lots of variety and plenty of dragon fruit. Mr Do and his reception team are great and I always seriously appreciate all the little amenities offered. I used the rooftop bar for a client meeting and it worked out great. The evening staff remember me from previous trips and I appreciate all the care they take in worrying about me and asking where I’m going at 4:30 am ( gotta watch the Hanoians work out that early haha.) I also still like that there is the supermarket across the street and tons of shopping nearby. I guess I still like the cathedral neighborhood vs other areas. The gold shops are still exchanging money however the VP bank atm didn’t work with my US Capital one card. I’ll definitely be back in October! Thank you again Oriental Jade ! "

"Amazing hotel and the best in Hanoi ! This hotel is so luxurious and special in every way! The rooms are lavish with the most comfortable beds and are beautifully decorated with lovely bathrooms and amenities including silk robes and slippers. Whatever you need a staff member is on it so quickly and everyone is so accommodating and caring. A special thank you to butler Celine and concierge Yen who were just incredible! There is 24 hour butler service and a special lounge for tea and treats anytime if you book specific room options. Also there is a delicious breakfast. The hotel is well located and close to sites, restaurants and shops. It was truly an exceptional experience to stay here and my thanks again to everyone who made my stay so memorable! "
