"We booked the room a long time in advance to make use of the spa facilities. When we arrived we tried to get day access to the spa as specified in hotels.com. We were informed that this was wrong, price was per hour. On insisting, we were told they were fully booked for the day. On insisting further, we were finally offered 2 hours the next morning, but we had to leave and could not make use of the spa. As a note they are still selling day access to the spa on hotels.com. Additionally the garden...
"We had a wonderful 2-night stay at Sea Pearl Luxury Rooms — the room was well designed, modern, spotless, great A/C, free street parking in front, and close to the Migliarina train station to go to cinque terre which was much quieter and easier to park than céntrale. We appreciated the daily housekeeping, stocked mini bar fridge with reasonable prices and coffee/tea. Also try Andree restaurant when you’re in La Spezia, can’t recommend it enough! "

"This is a wonderfully comfortable and well-equipped home in a superb location. We’ll never forget the views across the valley to a terracotta-tiled town on the next hill -stunning. Roberto was a perfect host, being on hand without interfering - delivering us freshly laid eggs and giving local info when we wanted it. The road to get to Roberto’s is also memorable, as you drive into the forest on a very narrow, sometimes steep gravel road - however, we did it in a Fiat Panda every day and it became part of the attraction of the experience of staying in this beautiful place! "
"I had great hopes for this hotel but fell short a little. The property is nice and well done but does not offer anything beyond a room and a, lets call it "sufficient" breakfast. Unless you use the spa area which looks great on the pictures, there is just nothing else.
The view is great, the location is great and the hotel is in great condition. Hence the reason for the 5-star but it sure is lacking something a little more.
Parking is a bit of a pain and loading/unloading should be better explained in an initial email before arriving. We blocked the road by mistake.
No elevator, for whoever may need that. We were fine.
