"Such a cozy cabin! Comfortable places to sit and sleep. Fireplace added a nice warmth and cozy addition. Everything was clean on arrival. The host gave detailed instructions for arrival and departure. It was a convenient drive to nearby attractions and towns. We really enjoyed our stay."

"We are there right now. My 7 year old can’t sleep because it sounds like a herd of elephants running rampant through the halls. When we checked in the lady at the counter was friendly, but then I heard her talking about us to a coworker because we used a credit card. The room was clean. The Bartender/Waiter was amazing. The food was mediocre. The pool and hot tub are nice, but I think there was too much chlorine. I don’t understand why they have so many balls in the pool. It got out of hand and people who just wanted to swim were getting hit in the face. There was blood on the floor. We told the lifeguard who used a hose to clean it up. That is not how you clean up blood. But, I also don’t think it should have been her responsibility. The workout room was ok. The breakfast was not great, but we are still grateful for it."

"The hot tub was relaxing! The house had a weird urine type smell in the the kitchen area. The host did not give us our door code until 3:55 and I had to text her to ask for it. Other than that, it was a nice cabin. Nice hot tub. Nice scenery."

"We plan a getaway at least once a year to decompress and specifically look for a place that offers an outdoor hot tub with a view. High winds prior to our arrival damaged the hot tub cover lift, but we were able to wedge a couple of boards against the HT so we could more easily manage moving the cover. While Creekside cottage does have a nice view from the HT, the picture in the ad (as of this posting) is not the hot tub/view at Creekside cottage (hot tub is set near the front of the cabin with stairs and cabin on one side, privacy fence blocking the road on another, and views looking towards the steep bluff with stream running below - can't really see the stream from the HT). The cabin was clean and provided most needed necessities. It's too bad they didn't build the cabin with larger windows or glass sliders to take full advantage of the surrounding views it has to offer - stream and rocky bluff to the west and sloping hillside to the east. We did figure it out, but something to note is that the thermostat on the main level controls the heating upstairs while there's a separate thermostat in the basement that controls the main level. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend or re-book Creekside cottage in the future. "

"This was a wonderful house in a serene area. Beds were very comfortable, kitchen was very adequate and nice outdoor space.The hot tub seemed to be not very clean, but we did enjoy it."

"We loved the space to spread out the family! We also loved that it was dog friendly, however, it would have been nice to know that we’d need to Venmo the owner a dog fee. The listing didn’t mention that. The kids loved the hot tub. The place does need a good deep clean. There was no cleaning fluid/mop/paper towels or anything available to clean myself. When packing linens you will need kitchen towels and wash cloths, not just bedroom/bathroom linens. Also the steep driveway wasn’t plowed when we arrived. Found a busted shovel to clear a path to the doors and to try and get the second vehicle up the hill. The snow removal guy came about an hour after check in. Since we stayed in winter the price was decent but I would be very disappointed to pay summer prices with the level of cleaning that needs done. There was also a constant stream of lady bugs coming in. They were on everything. The window sills were filled with dead ones. "

"We were a group of 6 staying for 3 nights. The house was nice, not a clean as we expected, but ok. Water in the house was a big issue. Water pressure was extremely slow. If two people were taking showers at the same time there was no pressure at all. It also listed 3 bathrooms, there were 3 but one was a half bath. It worked for us but if all the bedrooms in the house were occupied it would not have. Loved the area!"

"It was perfect from the moment we pulled up! The deer, the Eagles, and wildlife were alive! The property had everything we needed to get away from stress and decompress. The cabin was comfortable and fully stocked. The town is quaint and charming. We will be back! "

"The cabin was great and was the perfect size for our family of 4. Hot tub was in good, working condition and clean! No cell service for calls or texts, but that was ok with us!You bring your own towels and sheets, which again wasn't an issue for us!Would definitely recommend to others!"
