"The service and worker at both the front desk and the restaurant on the property were very kind and made me and my family feel very welcomed. The rooms were clean, spacious and gave us a view of the beach, etc. "
"The Overlook Cottage was an AMAZING vacation stay, with stunning views from both decks - which TRULY ROCKED because when the sun was beating down on one, i went to the other which was in the shade, and vice versa!!! Gary was extremely kind and communicative! Neighbors who live around the compound permanently were SO WONDERFUL ‼‼ I could live there permanently with these people who were TRUE Jersey Shore gems‼‼‼i have ALWAYS LOVED the Highlands, and being RIGHT ON THE WATER in this family owned property was such a blessing! Clean, well cared for, cozy, EVERYTHING provided for you that you could need to check in (kitchen products, toilet paper, clean comfy bedding and towels, and SO much more….etc)…WALKING DISTANCE TO SO MUCH FUN …. Including Sandy Hook beach days (a FREE PASS is included in the rental for as many folks as you can fit in your car - what a perk‼‼‼)….as well as all kinds of bars and restaurants right there ‼‼‼ I tried to rebook for next year, but Gary has very loyal regular renters…which is completely understandable….i was lucky to get ONE YEAR‼‼‼ So if you get the chance to rent, DO IT‼‼‼ You will NOT be sorry"

"We really enjoyed the bungalow and appreciated its amenities - outdoor dining, outdoor shower, backyard games, grill, hot tub, beach deck, and its perfect location. Indoors, it was impeccably clean, and made a very efficient use of space. We especially appreciated the kitchen tools, fresh spices, provided oil, and extra fridge that made cooking for 6 easier than in any other home I've stayed in.Some of our guests brought our own bikes which not only made it extremely easy to come to and from the city via the Seastreak ferry at the Highlands stop but made for lovely and quick shots down to nearby cafes and diners, to stores to pick up supplies, and beautiful morning rides up and down the bike path across the street all the way up to the tip of Sandy Hook. The hosts were communicative and helpful through issues like a big storm and a town-wide water shutdown that faded away completely in comparison to the special family memories we made.Thank you so much!"
"The property was cute and looked like the pictures. The host was fantastic. She made dinner reservations for us at an excellent restaurant and she was sweet and thoughtful. I definitely recommend this spot for a beach getaway. "
"Very nice home. Not too far from events we were attending in Long Branch. Private beach access was wonderful! Only issue was that upstairs guests could be heard from time to time. Kitchen had everything we needed for the week. Just the right size for our small family!"

"My daughter & her 6 friends rented for after-prom house for 2 nights. This house is adorable, immaculate and super roomy. Shawn was super attentive, allowing early/late check-in/out as well as providing any/all area info and was in constant communication. We’re locals and I can confirm that this is a great little town with all amenities within walking distance, including restaurants, coffee/bakery, convenience stores, hiking trails, beaches and stunning views. Girls are hoping to rent again for first summer break from college next year. Look no further!"
