"The best motel I've ever stayed in, and I've stayed in about 30 this year. It's more like a resort than a motel. The rooms and the bathrooms are very spacious.
The dining room/restaurant/bar is excellent. Food selection, serving size and quality is top class. "
"We had a great stay here. I’m pretty fussy with accommodation, particularly cleanliness and minimal clutter, and this house exceded my expectations. Booking and communication with Barry was easy. We arrived there in the dark and were relieved to find the outside lighting switched on for us. Immediate impression once inside was that it’s spacious, fresh and clean. In the morning we found the spectacular views outside, all visible from inside the house. We had a very comfortable sleep there. Very tranquil and peaceful, no noise at all the whole time we were there apart from wildlife. There is a nearby railway which we did hear sometimes at night though it was not bad at all and it never woke us up. The house was comfortably warm and we didn’t need to use the wood fire at all even though it was cooler outside in the evenings. Although it’s a small house, it feels very spacious and I really appreciated that it wasn’t cluttered with unnecessary decor yet it felt cosy and inviting. Everything we needed was already there. We found the location good as a base to explore the blue mountains. I would stay here again. "
"A treat to stay here, in the mountains. Wonderful welcome and service from the reception staff. The historic decor of the hotel makes it interesting to wander through. We really enjoyed the breakfast buffet and the magic views from the windows."
"It is located right in the centre of Blackheath, where all the cafes, restaurants and specialty stores are located. It also has a very charming old world feel. We really enjoyed it. "
"This is the first time I am staying around Blue mountains. Brought my parents to Australia first time in 15 years. Room was spacious, accomodative clean. Loved the ambiance. Overall nice and comfortable stay. Not expensive as well. "
