"Staff (from the front desk, housekeepers, dining room crew, and everyone else in between) were amazing and so very thoughtful and helpful. Property and rooms were clean and peaceful. Hot water was instant and plenty of it on demand!!! Glowing 100/100!"

"Wonderful location right on Lake Huron! Every room had a beautiful view of the lake. Well kept landscaping, beautiful flowers and plants, sand volleyball court, lots of beach chairs and forks fire pits.... restaurant had decent food and okay prices for a tourist spot. Breakfast was just like at Holiday Inn Express. All staff were helpful. Wonderful indoor hot tub and pool. Not a luxury hotel and not really fancy. But clean, comfortable, beautiful location, and great place to relax."

"The rental was set in a quiet location with beautifully maintained gardens. Our temporary residence had everything we needed- a good sized kitchen, private bathroom , bedroom and living room for relaxing after a busy day.Our hostess greeted on our arrival and wished a safe journey at the end of our stay."

"Pros Bed comfortable Pet friendly Close to town Air conditioning Cons US2 was right there perhaps 30 yds away Bathroom door broken, didn't close No staff on site apparently since motel is remotely run except for probably some cleaning person No seating Small room This is just an old style motel from the old days, but it was refurbished as much as could be. If I just wanted a place to sleep and planned to head out I wouldn't mind, but I had my wife and adult child as well as dog. I did appreciate that it was clean, but $50 for a dog was a little steep. I would recommend this for the sleep since beds were quite comfy, but it's not very big."

"We hit the jackpot with our impromptu overnight getaway! In the Levering/Bliss area near the tip of the mitt, some people with a vision have created a junkyard that is anything but junky. It’s an outdoor art gallery built from imagination, humor, old trucks, farm machinery, campers, lawn mowers, tools, you name it! Mowed paths wind their way over the hilly landscape, past decades of American heritage laid to rest in an uncharacteristically orderly way. The rusted flora-covered relics have been given a completely new life. The Junkyard Gallery is quirky, creative and wonderfully unpolished. William, Remi and I enjoyed our 24-hour getaway immensely! We highly recommend the DenDen Cabin. Thoughtfully appointed, comfy bed with down comforter, beautiful hilltop view, dark sky stars, gravity chairs for napping - just perfect!"
