"Staff are lovely. Recommend requesting ground floor for accessibility or if travelling with children as there’s no elevator. Indoor pool/hot tub were great. Hotel is older but has free parking (small spaces/laneway but still fit our truck), washing machines/dryers (extra $), and well stocked full kitchen. Aircon in living room only and blackout curtains still let some light through (consider for baby naps, etc). Right on lake terrace and an easy 5min stroll into town. Would definitely stay here again, especially for Ironman. "

"It was the cheapest accommodation in Taupo for a quick sleep over so 100% served the purpose. On entry it smelt older, musty, damp…can’t decide if it was one, the other or all 3. The rooms are paper thin, could hear the fans, flushing, showers through the walls. The window curtains were shower curtains. Wasn’t unpleasant, would stay again for a 10hr stopover but not a special or weekend away occasion. "

"Unfortunately there was mold around the windows and frames and my friend has breathing problems when mold is present so she struggled with her breathing through the night. Quiet place to stay. "

"The room had just been cleaned prior to us arriving - was clean and tidy although certain areas could do with a deep clean - All staff were friendly and polite "

"We had a view across the water which was stunning!! The room was great, with a kitchen. Comfortable beds. The washer and dryer was available too. Walking distance to town centre. The staff were excellent. I would definitely recommend this place. "

" There are no plates or bowls spoons or knives. the TV did not work when we arrived the shower curtain is far too small and short Consequently the water goes everywhere. the apartment needs to be decorating. It looked old and well used."
