A comfortable rest

We needed a safe comfortable place to sleep on a long road trip. We were provided with great service and a well lit, safe place to rest our heads. It wasn’t the ritz but it certainly was a bargain for what we paid.

The area is decent but the rooms could use some upgrades and the carpets could definitely use a cleaning but the staff was nice a respectful. The price is a bit high for the room based on condition but overall I can’t complain too much I guess

It smells musty , the room was clean but yet felt really dirty. I went back and forth on staying and should have known better. We left at 11pm to drive home , we couldn’t sleep there (we tried). It wasn’t noise related just the musty smell and the outdated (very ) room. The staff was very very gracious , it’s just a very outdated property but the price was worth giving it a shot.

Christie at the front desk needs to be recognized for her great leadership, customer, service skills, genuineness, and her compassion. She made me feel at home from the very beginning. Overall, my entire stay, which was four days was absolutely fantastic. And I highly recommend this super eight Motel.

The room was old and needed to be painted or at least cleaned really well. The walls and doors looked like they hadn't been wiped down in a while. The positives were the front desk staff was really helpful. We had to check in late and they held our room for us. The bed was also very comfortable.

You get what you pay for, some of the pics on hotels .com does not match this property. The property/room was functional & clean and was good for my quick 1 night solo trip, wouldn't be up to my wife's standards & i probably wouldn't stay here with my children.

Well let’s see… checked in on Friday night. No WIFI. Tv set to random input and no way to change the input on the tv. Room smelled clean looked clean minus the random bugs. Not so much cockroaches only saw a few little ones of those but other random ones. Front door needs a seal. 209. Shouldn’t be able to see light when the door is closed. Breakfast is a joke. Staff was very friendly though so at least that’s a plus. Parking lot was safe for our two nights. Would not recommend though unless it was the last choice in all of Mississippi.

Happy, but…

The representative that helped me was wonderful. The room wasn’t perfect, but the sheet were clean and the bed was comfortable. It certainly wasn’t a bad stay at all! Just needed a little tender care and update.

Good: comfortable bed quiet place, convenient parking, friendly front desk clerk when I arrived. Could be improved: Non-smoking room reeked of cigarette smoke. There are burn marks all over the edge of the bathtub; breakfast was a choice of cold cereal or toast. I couldn’t find anything to spread butter/jelly on my toast; there was a staff member sweeping the area while I was looking for help with breakfast but she was talking on her phone the entire time and I didn’t want to interrupt her.

Great comfy, peaceful sleep. Got to park almost outside our room. Breakfast simple but adequate. There was a homeless person getting packed up outside the window while we were having breakfast which was a bit off putting. Good value for money.

terrible water pressure

The room was clean and the bed was comfy. The shower was updated nicely but the water pressure was terrible. Could barely get the shampoo out of my hair. Def. needs to be looked at.

Bad weather and a long day of travel made us stop in Hattiesburg. The front desk staff was quick to check us in. The room was okay, but needed some work and TLC. I couldn’t use the hair dryer because of an electrical issue. The coffee was excellent, but that’s the only positive thing I can share about breakfast. I can only suggest some maintenance and cleaning for the grounds and room. I would not recommend this place

My stay here at this Super 8 located in Hattiesburg, MS was okay, better than expected Front desk • pleasure to deal with. Check-in and out went flawlessly. The customer service provided was slammed dunked. Room • Clean, smelled good. Spacious and so so comfortable feeling. Bed •Clean, and comfortable for my taste. Bathroom •Was clean •Shower head was good, in my opinion, the water stream was great and the hot water was hot •clean towels Breakfast • still unsure if they had a breakfast location WiFi connection • Login was easy with the provided password just remember to include the hyphen (-). Speeds were Consistent. So, all in all, I give this. This hotel has served what I was looking for. Could have been a little bit more updated but it is what it is. My room was in the second building, first floor nonsmoking.
