Cozy Cottage on the Trent River.

Cozy Cottage on the Trent River.

10/10 Excellent
"I went home feeling relaxed and rejuvenated after just two nights at this cozy cottage. The cottage is even more lovely than it appears in the photos. With two covered decks overlooking the river, there was a choice of beautiful spots to enjoy coffee in the mornings or a glass of wine in the evening (both outdoor areas protected from sun & rain!) There is a fire pit surrounded by Adirondack chairs and two "rolling" picnic tables for outdoor meals or games. The kitchen although small, is well stocked with everything you need. The hosts left us a much-appreciated gift of local corn and were attentive to all questions asked. We made use of the kayaks and explored the Trent River in which we also swam and were quite surprised by how clear and warm the water was. The hosts provide all sorts of games & activities for both indoor and outdoor entertainment: Trivial Pursuit, Monopoly, Card games, puzzles...Volleyball, badminton, croquet, water toys...the list goes on! This place is almost perfect!!"

Catch More Resort

Catch More Resort

8/10 Good
"We had a spectacular visit at Catch More Resort this August! The size was just right for a bigger family and we really loved that we could bring the dog too! The cabin itself (we stayed in cabin 4) was a bit more "rustic" than expected, and there were A LOT of cobwebs throughout, but nothing we couldn't handle. The kitchen, bathroom and shower were all clean and well stocked. It was nice to have kayaks and canoes available, but they might need some love and care, with some newer life jackets available, including some suitable for children. The playset also looks like its seen better days, but the kids enjoyed it and it didn’t impact their ability to have fun! We loved the pool!! It was the perfect size, and was well maintained. We also thought it was great that each cabin had its own fire pit and BBQ- so, so handy! I would suggest scrapping the old, cracked Adirondack chairs and tell guests to BYO chairs. Overall, we would definitely come again, but probably stay in one of the more updated cabins (1, 2 or 3). Thanks for a great few days!"

Riverside Area Cabin 7 Fully Renovated Fishing Cabin

10/10 Excellent
"Cabin 7 is a redone fish hut. Its great for 1 to 2 people. I would suggest this if you are using it for rest and food. Its all one room with a bathroom off to the side. I did get to clean it a bit the first night. Just a little bug hunting. Again it's an old fish hut. The other cottages on the property are for more the city or big family group people. The property is well maintained; brushes are trim the flower beds are beautiful and the property is clean. Yay Ron!!!!! He so great. He's the property manager and maintains the property he will stop and talk with you. You will see him working morning to night. He takes great pride in is work. Any time you text him with something he will be knoking on your door in a short time. He checks in and always friendly. Contacting the host. I dont think I actually was messaging him. It was mostly Christy. Her and Ron are what make this place. Both very attentive to there work. I realy had no interaction with cleaning staff. They get your place clean and ready. Then clean it when your done. The sheets were clean and same for the cloths and towels. The advertisement that I had seen said on site laundry. That's in the other cabbins not number 7. There is no shared fire pit every cottage gets there own. The one I had seen for this also said shared fire pit. But bonus you get your own. The shared dock is beautiful and the little beach is cute. Im already looking to book for next year. Look forward to seeing you again next year Ron."
