"This was the perfect spot for a winter family weekend. Two hour drive for those of us coming from Ottawa and 3 hours for those from Hamilton. The accommodation was clean and comfortable. It was nice that there was a bedroom and bathroom on each floor. It allowed everyone to have their own space. The kitchen was well equipped, although we would have preferred a regular coffee maker, we brought coffee, but not Kreurig pods and not everyone got coffee on the last day. "We really enjoyed the coziness, cleanliness and convenience of this cabin at a very well run campsite basically across the street from the Sandbanks Provincial Park. There is some noise from passing cars on the nearby road and chat from other campers on the grounds, but everyone was respectful of others. "Almost everything was perfect, but there was one big problem: no hot water. If it had been just me, it wouldn't have been a big problem, but having my parents (70+), my pregnant wife, and my two year old daughter there, it was definitely a problem. We had to call management at least 4 times and each time they came supposedly "fixed" the problem. Although the management was very nice and attentive, having hot water for 30 seconds and then pure cold water doesn't sound like the problem was solved....

"We had a Christmas family gathering. Jackie even had a Christmas tree up in the living room beside the fireplace. It was a perfect spot to place the gifts for everyone. Lots of room to gather, and the outdoor spaces were amazing. The kids played on the structures and walked through the forest. We had a beautiful evening on Saturday to sit around the fire pit. The information page needs to be updated, as it says it sleeps 15, but only sleeps 12. Other than that, I would highly recommend this...
