Further afield are a number of hidden coves and fishing villages including Abermawr and Abercastle to the north. The village of Trefin with its pub and cafe is well worth a visit perched above Aberfelin beach. While to the south is Abereiddy with its black sand and shingle beach and the Blue Lagoon. The tiny city of St Davids is within a short drive and has a range of facilities to try, as well as its Cathedral and Bishops Palace to explore.
